And this, ladies and gentlemen, is what it feels like when you're forced to say goodbye to someone you can't live without. "There's no easy way to get through goodbye". After all the years that have passed, this song still stops me dead in my tracks AND I still love her as much now as I did back then. It's been 20 years.

One of the most underrated and amazing voices ever in country music. This performance was at the height of her vocal prowess and vulnerability. She conveyed through voice and emotion the heartbreak of it's lyrics and had every audience member in her hands. One of the most amazing live performances by any female artist ever recorded.

in 1993/94, I was in the painful process of divorcing a woman I did not want to say goodbye to. This song was one of the most popular on the radio and it basically became my anthem. Our oldest son was married a few months ago and after not seeing her for almost 6 years I can honestly say it is not over yet. I still get a lump in my throat when I think of her and have yet to find anyone who moved me as she did.

This song will put me in tears if I let it. I do not listen to it very often, for that reason. Anyone who has ever loved and lost in a relationship, this song is incredibly powerful. Bless her! Love you Wynonna!

My first wife told me goodbye in 1992. The words from this song said exactly how my heart felt. This song still brings tears to my eyes today. Painful, but beautiful.

If there’s one thing Naomi wanted for her daughters Wynonna and Ashley.. is to be happy and successful. She made sure of that before leaving this world. Seeing her smile and probably was thinking “That’s my girl” ☺️❤️

Girl is obviously feeling every word, every note. These are the performances that showcase real talent. To bad the market doesn't demand this anymore.

This was sung right after I finally broke it off with my cheating ex-husband, I listened as I held our newborn son. It really hit home. But it also reminded me why I had made this decision. I absolutely boo hood. Could it be any more poetic?

To me, this is Wynona at her absoloute best. Powerful, controlled and her voice makes you believe the words she is singing. Great lyrics and great delivery.
