When did it become so offensive to bring a little laughter into peoples lives? At what point do we need to have online courses that teach the woke/pc minority where the 'off' button is?
Never said a truer word. I wonder how many of the younger crowd have experienced what we called a "belly laugh" ? I cant count the times my sides and stomach ached after watching the likes of Ken Dodd, Jim Davidson, Morcambe & Wise - and how we enjoyed "variety" in the true sense. As you say comedians told JOKES and we laughed at them as JOKES. Now everybody looks for the controversial for material. We craved escapism from the reality of life, not to be reminded of things that we are forced to endure by circumstance. Good on 'yer Glenn, tell it how it is !!
