My neighbor used to come to my house and we would watch erased together and EVERY single time we watched a new episode we would blast the intro and jam out. A memory I’ll never forget 🥺✨

Jesus man this anime and opening makes me feel a special kinda way in my chest. The music is amazing, the story is so good , chilling yet sweet, and the whole thing together along with the characters make this anime a 10/10. I love this show man, only saw it once but I assure you I’m going to rewatch it!!

Finished it yesterday, and at first I found the twist to be quite obvious (It was clear it was Yoshiro even before the candy scene), but then I realized that it isn't the point of the story. The story is about relationships, friendship, being loyal and faithful to your friends, and if you judge it by that, it's an amazing and compelling story. Glad it entered Netflix!

Something I love about Erased is how centered it is yet astronomical it feels. Yes, the literal fabric of reality is being torn apart but it’s to stop one man, in Japan, as a child, simply by spending more time with his peers. Revival isn’t being used to stop an apocalyptic circumstance. It’s being used to protect the people around you.
I just think the Butterfly Effect thematic is a great plot device. also worked for the live action movies by the same name and Life is Strange. I think this anime might have done it best though.

The opening feels so nostalgic even though I only just watched the anime earlier this year. Just a rush of emotions and it just has u reflecting on life especially when you’re a young adult in your 20s. It’s kinda therapeutic in a way lol. Def gonna rewatch soon.

Sure Satoru didn't love her before he went back in time, But as when he was saving her they made new memories together and their feelings for each other developed. That's why in the anime hospital scene Satoru cried when he met Kayo again after 15 years. In the manga Kayo actually waited until she was in middle school but Satoru's Mom told her to move on with her life which I think was the right call. He may have never woke up and she would be waiting for nothing. I don't really hate Airi either. Its my personal preference since I don't like dating younger women. I mean Airi was 17 when Satoru was 29 soooooooo...
Can't even begin to explain how good of a anime this truly was. Amazing characters, plot development, character development, cinematography, and so much more. Only other thing I could wish for is that they added at least 2 more episodes to really wrap it up instead of the pretty lazy ending they did. Overall, still a banger of a anime.
Almost been a month when I watched this anime for the first time. Ended up being FAR better than I thought it was gonna be, a solid 9/10. The emotions this anime made me go through, especially the anxiety for Kayo. Hoping that she’d stay safe at the end of the series and such
Kayo lowkey carried all of the earlier episodes. She managed to get you as the viewer to care for the actions taken in the show. There was so much tension until Satoru finally managed to save her
I really liked this anime, the characters were well written especially the mother, the many character was likable, the villain was so charismatic that I honestly was caught off guard for the reveal, the animation was beautiful, loved the design of the world and characters, there were a few hiccups here and there when it came to plot related things and you kind of have to allow the “revival” element go to make sense for the story to work, to me that’s what hurt the anime. I’d definitely say subjectively i’d give the series a hard 9/10 but if I’m going for more of an objective rating than 7/10

i just finished watching this like a few minutes ago , and GOOD GOD!! this anime was completely def than all other animes I've ever watched , this is def getting on my top 10 anime list , and I highly recommend this.
Spoilers! :) Literally as soon as he first appeared on screen: "It's the teacher isn't it" First few episodes: "IT'S THE TEACHER IT'S THE TEACHER IT'S THE TEACHER IT-" Last few episodes before the reveal: "You know what maybe it's not the teacher, I think I can start to trust him." Reveal: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" Also when Satoru discovered the candy my heart literally stopped lmao yet I still thought nah Yashiro could be telling the truth
Oh and now that I think about it I don't think he would have used it for his murders anyway we really only saw how kayo was killed but if doing it without the victim being able to see their killer is how he always does it then it wouldn't make sense for him to use the candy. Although he may have used it to lure out Aya, I think even that is a bit of a stretch because she was more of the mature type and probably wouldn't be baited by candy like that

Finished it yesterday, and at first I found the twist to be quite obvious (It was clear it was Yoshiro even before the candy scene), but then I realized that it isn't the point of the story. The story is about relationships, friendship, being loyal and faithful to your friends, and if you judge it by that, it's an amazing and compelling story. Glad it entered Netflix!

The opening feels so nostalgic even though I only just watched the anime earlier this year. Just a rush of emotions and it just has u reflecting on life especially when you’re a young adult in your 20s. It’s kinda therapeutic in a way lol. Def gonna rewatch soon.

-When I looked up the english lyrics I felt contented and sad at the same time with what happened to Kayo and Satoru. I think the song is from Kayo's point of view, the "waiting" parts of the lyrics. But it fits Satoru as well. Its better than most slice of life genre for me. Sure Satoru didn't love her before he went back in time, But as when he was saving her they made new memories together and their feelings for each other developed. That's why in the anime hospital scene Satoru cried when he met Kayo again after 15 years.
In the manga Kayo actually waited until she was in middle school but Satoru's Mom told her to move on with her life which I think was the right call. He may have never woke up and she would be waiting for nothing.
I don't really hate Airi either. Its my personal preference since I don't like dating younger women. I mean Airi was 17 when Satoru was 29 soooooooo...

This was my first anime, i remember binging it all in one night, and that day i realised how good some shows can be
Can't even begin to explain how good of a anime this truly was. Amazing characters, plot development, character development, cinematography, and so much more. Only other thing I could wish for is that they added at least 2 more episodes to really wrap it up instead of the pretty lazy ending they did. Overall, still a banger of a anime.

Almost been a month when I watched this anime for the first time. Ended up being FAR better than I thought it was gonna be, a solid 9/10. The emotions this anime made me go through, especially the anxiety for Kayo. Hoping that she’d stay safe at the end of the series and such

Kayo lowkey carried all of the earlier episodes. She managed to get you as the viewer to care for the actions taken in the show. There was so much tension until Satoru finally managed to save her

I really liked this anime, the characters were well written especially the mother, the many character was likable, the villain was so charismatic that I honestly was caught off guard for the reveal, the animation was beautiful, loved the design of the world and characters, there were a few hiccups here and there when it came to plot related things and you kind of have to allow the “revival” element go to make sense for the story to work, to me that’s what hurt the anime. I’d definitely say subjectively i’d give the series a hard 9/10 but if I’m going for more of an objective rating than 7/10
