I understand that the game also allows solo playthrough. What do you think about that variant? Is it really a game suitable for solo mode or do you think it doesn't work too well that way?

We did not take it through its paces with the solo variant. Any game like this will be somewhat limited compared to playing it with human opponents I think. If we hear anything on that front though, we'll circle back to your question.

Probably a reasonable way to look at it, although I've only ever seen Axis & Allies played. 😄
