I think they knew this was going to get the community excited
My guess is that the entire pack is Oceania animals exclusively but they're going to call it the Islands Pack. Simply because of how popular the idea has become over the past year now. Also I think the community has got it down in terms of the habitat animals. The only mystery is that exhibit animal. My best guess is the pack will include based on the evidence
- Tasmanian Devil
- Quokka
- North Island Brown Kiwi
- Little Blue Penguin
- Rainbow Lorikeet (Walkthrough Exhibit) or possibly a new type of exhibit similar to that of the walkthrough.
In terms of scenery, my only guess is it will be based around New Zealand with a Tiki Theme. I can already see them using the Tiki Room at Disney World for inspiration 😂
I'm sure they have consulted with Māori advisers if they are going to use New Zealand imagery. It could be more general Pacific themed. The Kiwi could be the exhibit animal. Have you ever seen a kiwi enclosure. They are super controlled, often completely dark as the animals are nocturnal.
I have tried and failed to try and mock an ocean front. I still love this pack/DLC but would love an ocean beach environment. Have not played for awhile but am totally back into it in the previous weeks. Hope we get some rain soon, too dry here in MS, but this is our dry time, getting worried about wild fires. Of course, historically, we will be having thunderstorms for weeks in a few days. Too dry here now. We have trees falling due to dryness as MS is normally so wet. Love the channel so much. Still have my tea in SdanWolf mug each day. Your tote bag has come in handy for my visit to local Farmers Market. I keep it in my trunk.
I don't know if there's going to be five animals in that pack, but will see. That will make it a total of 171 animals when that pack comes out and the anniversary will make it 172 species in total.
What ever it is, I'm just excited for the Devil, works well with an Aussie section but also a woodsy area as well. Might go back to my unfinished Fall themed zoo and build a little spooky section for them!

Me too! Scenery Packs always get me a little more excited than Animal packs hehe

It's obscure in some ways and I love that!
I don't think it will be just Oceania but more just Islands overall.

Matchie's Tree Kangaroo
Walrus
Japanese Serow
Exhibit - Madagascan Day Gecko
Walkthrough - New Zealand Kiwi or Rainbow Lorikeet
I think Tasmanian Devil, Kiwi and maybe quokka are already confirmed for the pack so to say we get the walrus as the only habitat animal that isn’t from Oceania will be weird I hope walrus will the free anniversary animal
I agree. I think the kiwi will be the exhibit as they need a very controlled and darkened environment and are often walk through.
I keep trying to make a aquatic zoo.
Hard to tell which of the animals are able to swim or not

*Firecracker Punch*: TASMANIAN DEVIL chili..... Chilean Flamingo? or something from Chile.... then they add the chile's as horns and everyone is like Tasmanian Devil....
*Sunshine Smile*: QUOKKA passionfruit smile.... Quokka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has to be their derpy smile!
*Getaway Glow*: KIWI Fishbowl....KIWI...clearly it's a KIWI, not a fish...
*Cerulean Pebble*: BLUE PENGUIN iceberg & orange nose peel.... Blue penguin, yep.
*Citrus Blossom*: HUMMINGBIRDS/ORCHID MANTIS Flowers.... hummingbirds? A friend suggested the Orchid Mantis, though, and I'm more convinced THAT's what we'll be getting, since otherwise we'd be getting more than 5 animals in a theme pack.
As for theme..... idk wtf they'll do other than maybe lots of colorful flowers (hopefully), and totem poles....
