I am literally sitting in a convenience store mixing the basil and cream noodles and the first thing he does is pull those out😂 Good thing I added a bit less water, they are pretty good lol
11:05 yea i've heard many ppl get shocked when they go to korea and the cream cheese garlic bread is super sweet. it's meant to be sweet apparently. koreans treat "garlic bread" as a dessert so i think it's the same case here. anything cream cheese or garlic will be sweet. even the korean garlic chicken wings i've had are sweet which was very off-putting to me.
I concur. Also anything butter flavored will most likely be sweet as well. That said, there are a ton of great food. Just expect most of the cheese, cream cheese, butter, garlic flavors to be sweet.
@@진-h3m1d Well, there is a popular theory that since rice, not bread, is the staple food of Korea, bread is often eaten after meals. Hence, it eventually progressed to becoming sweet relative to those found in the west. That said, as much as I love visiting Korean/Japanese bakeries, I absolutely despise garlic bread being sweet!!!
@@진-h3m1d Exactly, at least, that was my experience when I lived in Pohang in 1997 and Cheong'ju in 2002. Most of the bread made fresh in their bakeries, is sweet, and I'm sorry to say it was mostly pretty bad. Korean cuisine, for the most part, is one of the healthiest and tastiest in the world, but their baking, not so good.
I know this sounds bad but i only really watch these convenience store videos😂 as someone who can rarely afford most of what this guy eats on every given day, i like the focus on foods im familiar with for the most part in my price range aha
5:19 random instant noodle tip, if you want your noodles to be drier you can wait a bit first so some of the water evaporates. Although there's a tradeoff if you enjoy eating the noodles piping hot
I have always loved Mikey’s videos, even before strictly dumpling but I’ve often wondered if it’s just the way I’m hearing him say it or has anyone else realized that it sounds like he’s saying “yeet” instead of eat?? 🤷🏻♀️
Yes, Buldak instructions say to drain, keeping back a bit of the water (I think it's like 8 Tbsp). I usually go with way less than the recommended (maybe 1 Tbsp, if that), but looks like Mike used the full 8 Tbsp though he said he used less.
Buldak cheese fire noodles are awesome, had the stew version and pimped it up with trumpet mushrooms, some beansprouts, little cabbage and smoked Frankfurters.. was very nice and spicy ❤.
Dear Mike, I love your content and I get that you are a foodie but eating as much processed food and eating out in general cannot be all that good for your health. Take care.
I find it hard to believe that South Korea can make a good frozen pizza. If it's true, then they have improved their pizza game by about a billion percent. In 2002, I had the worst pizza ever in Cheong'ju. Equally as bad as the frozen pizza I had in Pohang in 1997. Now I really want to go back to see.
There's no way you just microwave'd a pizza and said that it was good. And you dress better for Korean convenience store food than when you go out to nice restaurants.
Hi Mike! You should make an Amazon list of all your favorite instant noodles that we can all try and order for ourselves!
pleaseeeeeeee!!!!!
Good idea!!!
yes yes YES
amazon upcharges insanely on noodles

I will never miss a convenience store food video.

Yeah, the sweet garlic bread haunts me here 😭

I feel like he’d look so good with a shorter haircut almost a fade
He still looks good . If it’s not for you that’s fine👍
If it ain't broke
So that’s why Netflix raised their prices. To make popcorn in another country.
I know this sounds bad but i only really watch these convenience store videos😂 as someone who can rarely afford most of what this guy eats on every given day, i like the focus on foods im familiar with for the most part in my price range aha
it doesn't sound bad bruh
nah man especially if your like me and you watch these videos for lunch/dinner ideas...nothin to feel bad about!

@@ChappysTikiBarhow’d you get this emoji? 😳😮
Wish we had stores like this in the U.S.
I watched this while using my Surf Shark, while drinking my AG1 with a bowl of Magic Spoon.
Thanks for everything you show in your channel. I'm going to look up Koran markets and restaurants. Locally to show my support ❤.
KIDNEY FAILURE IS WAVING
Sorry Mike but i can't believe that the microwaved pizza was amazing :D
I will never eat these food/snacks but I like watching you eating them.
Why?????
I guess cuz its salty (high sodium) and theres not really good nutriments consuming things like that.
Gotta love that convenience food
Another family emergency Mikey?
shut it
hes not korean?

It's not you. He does say yeet.
All my RUclips recommendations is 24hour convenience store videos I feel like it’s a sign 🤤
If you are a follower of his he mostly shows only the credible foods he doesn't like to put down anyone he just will not post any bad reviews
I think the noodles were watery cause maybe you're supposed to drain the water!

I'm convinced that Mike likes EVERYTHING. I think the hot chilli's he's consumed over the years have fried his taste buds!
These are the BEST videos! I absolutely love them so much 🎉🎉🎉
Mikey, next time you go to Korea, go visit other cities, rather than just Seoul
Man has the best job in the world
That’s got to be a lot of sodium intake in only one day! I would explode lol
With all of the eating, I can only imagine how his cholesterol, sugar etc levels are
He's doing much better than you in life. Worry about urself bud 😅
😂😂😂
I LOVE that Korean noodle brand with the little white bird on it! I love collecting the packages because each flavor is so cute design!
Are you talking about Buldak noodles??
Buldak cheese fire noodles are awesome, had the stew version and pimped it up with trumpet mushrooms, some beansprouts, little cabbage and smoked Frankfurters.. was very nice and spicy ❤.
aren't you supposed to get rid of the ramen/udon water after heating the cup noodles up? just wondering...
What a great haircut! Did you get it cut in South Korea? They seem to really do great work. :)
Bro always like sum yung guy 😂 Jackie chan come get your brother 😂
convenience store foods 🤤 this made me hungry 🥲
All those noodles in surprise your sodium levels aren’t through the roof!
you know that Mala popcorn was fire when Mikey had to back up his chair abit
Hard pass!!!!
I had some dumping from Walmart that looked just like those plastic tray and all! But they were great value brand
I’ve watch him for years, I’m not sure he really knows what good food is.

I have always wanted to visit South Korea for their food. Love your videos keep eating for all of us.
Everything looks so yummy. I have a wheat and gluten allergy. Do you know of any, and recommend gluten free instant noodles?
8 months pregnant and i just watch your videos and drool lol
I love how Mikey is never afraid to customize his meals to his liking! Instant noodles, meet string cheese🤗💗
Would love to see you and David from barstool do a collaboration.

Mike can you please do a "Top 10" of all the countries for food visiting. I really badly want your recommendations of where to go first. Please.
This dude likes everything, his taste buds are gone 😂
Looking good Mike! Your videos are incredible 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
I have no idea why I enjoy the convenience store ones so much, but I do.
Same 😊
WOW W OWWW WOW
First time I see Mike don’t like a food 😂
Hmm, more reason for me to consider Korea as a travel destination. If the combini store culture there is on the same level as Japan? Gotta do it!
Have you done a store bought cold noodle video? If not I’d love to see one.
You have to drain the water expect for a few teaspoons
When Netflix is starting to sell their own popcorn, you know things are starting to get crazy
At this point you're more korean than most of koreans 💀
Mikey those dumplings you got Brother 🤤🤤 My mouth is watering!! But everything looks Fire!! 🔥🔥
I love popcorns! 🍿 Enjoyed the review!!!
you made me buy cup ramen at 1 am
Hey Mike Chen, you need to eat more vegetables and cut down on Junk food
A notification Mikey uploaded a new video, is always a better day.👍

There are so many kinds of convenient food in Korean convenience stores. Please come again

I hardly ever see you find something you don't like. I would love to try all those instant noodles but the sodium would literally take me out.
He's said before that he generally doesn't include items he really dislikes in the final edit

Mike, you need glasses. I could see those were sausages way before you zoomed in.
