This kit was my daughters first foray into polymer clay and it was a big hit. I don’t disagree with your cons, but overall it was still a win for us. I guess probably any polymer clay would have has the same effect for her but she picked this out of a book order and now we have to buy clay regularly lol.

but Jackie I thought the whole point of pencil toppers was to be removable, as an artist I can say while cute pencil toppers make a pencil hard to move hence why I take them off before using the pencil. personally use pencil toppers as a cute way to display pencils or as a way to keep track of the eraser, just saying. I am salty about your salt hehe
Thank you! Removable pencil toppers are different to erasers made to stay on a pencil, its more decorative than anything else

Espeon Playz Canada is not just english france also had a colony but lost it to the brittish durring a war so it then became part of canada but theyre was still french settlers there so they eventually merged with the english settlers but were still mostly french so yah boom history lesson

About the aesthetic erasers: here in Germany there was a trend to collect cute eraser figures without ever using them. They cost up to 4€. When my cousin had a collection I made some cute erasers for her with a kit like this one. For that purpose it was perfect.

I am making a rag doll kit for the Historic Society gift shop in town. Your videos have been REALLY HELPFUL. Even though it's a "I am putting everything in a zip lock bag" kit, I'm learning what to put in.. as in EVERYTHING a person will need except scissors. Directions ... you taught me very important. I hope to do a youtube tutorial also. But someone was "Why are you putting in the string to tie the doll, everyone should have that." and I was "Nope the kit needs to have everything... and clearly marked in a smaller bag so it won't get lost with the fabric strips." so THANK YOU!
Friendly heads up to others who really want a Klutz kit, most of them pop up at thrift stores, with everything never even used from the kits. That's where I get mine, I never buy them new. Even got one free from a thrift stores free bin that wanted them gone, try your luck at used stores if you really want one!

I would honestly just want the booklet to make the cute little creatures out of polymer clay lol.
I'm still a beginner with polymer, so it'd be a helpful tool to practice with, but there are so many tutorials online even the booklet isn't really worth it.
For some all puns are bad but for me there is no such thing as a bad pun! Love puns and I love your content!

Scoring both pieces of the clay where you want them to stick and putting a thin layer of water on both might help. I know it works with “real” (earthenware) clay. It might work with air dry clay as well.
I just had perfect add timing. Jackie says the price is ridiculous and says the price. Then an H&R Block add starts with some one exclaiming "How much!" I'm dying over here.

The birb is adorbs. Adhesion is like the main reason I can't do darned sculptures. I work with yarn and pipe cleaners to make 3D art because I just freaking suck with clay.
I got an eraser maker thing for Christmas (it was/is like $5 us) and the clay was crumbly and took forever to warm up enough, plus it came with zero tools or help(it was literally just a box of clay) i rolled extra pieces on to make them stay better, but it only worked half the time. I made:
A rockruff who’s tail came off after baking
A black cat that fell over in the toaster oven and could no longer stand then after baking a hind leg broke off
And a Phantump what lost an arm.
There were also many rolls, a Snivy holding a rainbow bean that could definitely be better, a Starbucks cup with a straw, and a Rowlet that I’m very proud of and the only complicated one that stayed together.
After an hour or two of warming up the clay (JUST THE WARMING) by pressing and rubbing it against my hand, my right thumb, pointer finger, and left palm were sore as heck. I thought my palm was gonna be bruised.
Totally not worth it for bad erasers but it was a Christmas gift, so I guess I can’t complain that much. I’m just using it as sculpting clay.

If it didn't come with a pencil, I would have assumed that the erasers were entirely aesthetic due to the cutouts.
I don't understand the need for erasers like these. They are too pretty/cute to use, I never used any other than the standard white cube. Using these cute animals would break my heart.

I found this kit for $12 on Amazon. I’m thinking about buying it for the book the eraser clay won’t go to waste. I’ll use that to try out the techniques in the booklet.

There seems to be an entire industry dedicated to cute-but-not-functional erasers, especially from Japan. I guess if this kit was only CAD$15, it would be good for people obsessed with those cute non-functional products. If it was like $5 without the book, you could try and squish the blocks together into one big rainbow chunk that is actually functional.
To save your money you could just buy a normal pencil eraser and then draw eyes on the side then cut the bottom...BOOM SQUID!

Heres a tip, If you are having trouble with the head for the parrot, you can put cut mark sort of things under the head and where you want to put it 👌
