Not to take anything away from Major Wolfe, but she is NOT the first female USAF fighter pilot. That honor goes to Brig Gen Jeannie Leavitt, who became the Air Force's first female fighter pilot in 1993. Other than that, great video.
It's like the 'first female football player" in the US. Every few years, a new one comes on the scene and they media has to claim she's "the first" so they can push "girl power" propaganda.
Now that is what I call real GIRL POWER!!!! So good, and she must have gone through so much to get where she is, YES, I will support her, amazing woman , Thank you Elwyn !
One very talented lady pilot, having a great time. Super footage as usual and particularly liked that zoomed in study of Kristin getting ready. Awesome airplane and fine maneuvers. Loved the formation with P51 :)
First time I've noticed how much larger the F-22 is than the F35. Always thought it was the other way around. Makes sense now when considering the insane maneuverability the Raptor is capable of. Great video, well done! 👏🏼
Kristin Wolfe is a Rock Star! And so is Elwyn R ! Thanks for another great video! ( btw, that heritage flight really shows how much larger the F 22 is 😯)
Without wishing to detract from this ladies undoubted abilities, I thought Nicole Malachowski was the first USAF female combat pilot. She saw action over Serbia in 1999 and then Iraq in 2003, and has flown as a Thunderbird team member.
Was the pilot flying this 80-million-dollar F-35, the same one that used the pitot tube as a coat hanger, before getting into the cockpit 0.07, doing her hair, and putting her helmet on 2.03, all while the engine was spooling up? Elwyn captured all of that for her teammates and bosses to see.
The in-flight reliability of engines today is such that having 2 would increase maintenance cost (because for each plane you have to do engine maintenance 2x). The acquisition cost of the weapon system would also increase as engines are typically at least around 25% of the cost of the vehicle (F-35A ~ $80M, F135 engine ~ $20M). The main reason today for having 2 engines is performance (thrust). Until the 1990s, a single engine didn't provide more than 22000lb of wet (afterburner) thrust given sensible fan diameter sizes so now we have the technological convergence of being able to provide more power in a more reliable package that reduces total cost of acquisition & operation. The F135 is currently the most powerful afterburning fighter engine in the world, being able to provide over 43000lb of wet thrust. The GE F414 is used in single engine configuration by the JAS 39 Gripen, which has a similar weight to the F-16.
👍📸... Hi Elwyn, absolutely fantastic footage, mate!!!!...Beautifully presented!!!....fair play to that lady pilot. She was bloody amazing!!!..the way she manoeuvred that F35 was incredible!! And that back flip, well that was cracking!!... how do you hear of displays like this?. This must have been brilliant to have watched. Fabulous job as even mate!👌..keep em coming!!! Cheers Paul 🍺📸😁
Very nice Elwyn, I've not decided yet what I like the most, the beautiful 😍 Major Wolfe, her skill in the cockpit, the F35 itself or your videos, all top notch👍👌👏👏🏴🇺🇲✈️ ATB Andy
Looking forward to seeing her this coming August for the Seafair Air show. In the meantime, I need something better than my iPhone 15 Pro Max. You're using the AX53 here, correct? I really like the detail up close inside the cockpit.
Great video! Saw her fly at the Canadian International Air Show in Toronto last September. Wow, she put on an incredible show for the crowds! Think she likes flying the F35! 😎
I'm not saying this to virtue signal, I promise. But I genuinely love seeing women in these aircraft kicking so much ass. This is progress, both for the US and for the military. Yes, I know there have been female combat pilots for a couple of decades now. But it still fills me with joy every time I see them doing so well. Keep being your bad ass self, Beo Wolfe!
Wow....never really watched many videos where the 22 and 35 are flying that close together. The 22 is so much larger.....didn't know there was that big of a difference in size.
She's a great pilot for sure. She's not the first female USAF pilot, they have been around since the 90's in the fighters (Jeannie M. Leavitt) for the USAF. She is the first solo demo female pilot. But the thunderbirds have had female pilots before her so she's not the first USAF female demo pilot.
This is brilliant I would give anything to go and watch a fly by. But not anymore because of major health issues. I loved watching air shows being a military wife.
Elwyn. Brilliant mate. I particularly like the super smooth transitions in your editing. Not needed so much on your mach loop footage. Here they really added to the quality. Top effort. Loved it and a great pilot.
Not that I know anything but that F35 is spending a lot of time on afterburner. I like the idea of the F35 as a stand off stealth platform but up close and personal you'd want a bit more performance is my guess.
@@Ziggy_Moonglowit also gets a 20:1 kill ratio in red flag and won in every single open tender fighter competition that it's been submitted into. At a certain point it might be time to put down your framed picture of Pierre Sprey and admit that maybe, just maybe, the F-35 might actually just be a good fighter.
Ok. You convinced me. The f35 isn't so bad and I want one too😂. Great clip! And what a nice conclusion! It's always great to see the new girls paying respect to an old Lady.
I met Major Wolfe at Holloman Air Force Base in 2022. What an amazing pilot and Officer! I hope she and her team come back this year!
The drive home for these pilots must feel like slooooooow motion.
Nice work Elwyn.
yes I totally agree 😂
Can anyone tell me why the USAF F-35 Demo Team still has not attended RIAT UK? 😢
No idea but I feel the same about not seeing the RAAF F-35 demo in the States.
Thanks Big E! Beautiful camera work of the real Wonder Woman! An amazing fighter that looks better in the air than the tarmac! Happy 4th to all!
It looks awesome on the ground too. The frontal view is fantastic
What an amazing airplane, and this is a perfect showcase of its beauty. Great footage!
Glad you enjoyed it

Well said!👌
Camera work so incredible I didn’t notice it until other’s comments. Thank you. The pilot is terrific. Mesmerizing all the way around!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow! Incredible footage as always mate!! It certainly is an awesome piece of kit and demonstrated by a superb jockey! Something else that was! 🤘🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
PS - I'll never not get emotional watching a P51 being escorted by an F35 and a F22

Awesome footage Elwyn!!! I would love to been there better yet been in that fighter jet. Ty for the posting you never fail us.
🥰😍😊👍🙌🏻
👍👏👏👏👌 thank you Major Kristin ❤️🇵🇱
Great video, thanks for sharing. Bloody impressive piece of kit - particularly when dashing through the valleys of Wales !
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow! Awesome flying and photography! Thanks for bringing the demo to the folks that were unable to attend Elwyn. 😊
Thanks for watching! 😊👍
Crazy to see just how far technology and innovation has come! 💯💯💯
Thank you for another wonderful video. Triple flyby was awesome!

She's female so she's not held to any kind of standard. That would be "SEXIST!".
You sound bitter lol
Do you think?
@jim7082 why does it make ya bitter?
I live a mile from Hill AFB so I get to watch these birds fly 5 days a week. Sometimes weekend too.
Cool 👌
U should make a plane view park
Interesting that both jets can fly slow enough, without going into high-AOA mode, to be alongside that vintage propeller airframe.
The P51 had a top speed of 441 MPH. Flying mid 300s for all those aircraft is no problem. Cruise speed in the Mustang is mid 250
Fantastic plane, fantastic pilot, super fantastic videographer!
Worst AC ever created, a woman that was allowed into the military due to lowered standards, but yeah...the cameraman is ok.
Seriously did she really hang her flight jacket etc on the pitot and static tubes??????
It sure does look like it 🤣
Love your footage always! Question for any in the know: What is your take on single engine fighters vs. two engine fighters? Have a rockin' day!

Mind-blowing seeing an F-22 an f-35 and a Mustang flying together in formation...

Yes still sx53 👌 new pilot this year
This made my morning coffee great....
Perfect!☺️
Another great video, thanks for sharing.
Did you get any footage of UAPs or UFOs (either ours or "theirs") whilst there🤔🤔🤔👍✌️💜😄
Absolute rockstar. I love it.

Think she likes flying the F35! 😎
Cool, thanks! Think she is to Canada again this season 👌
I love the F--22 to the F-35 because you can't see them coming until it's too late!!
Appears to be able to pull high G/alpha without bleeding away much energy. That's a good thing.
Yes it is 👌
Nice videoof Major Wolfe and the F-35.Thank you Elwyn!
Great Warbirds passes. You don't often get a 22 & a 35 together. The Mustang is the icing.
You got that right! 👌
The Alaskan Air Wing 🇺🇸🇺🇸operate them together all the time.
The rank and Hollywood glamour aside I'd say she is in all other aspects the genuine 'Captain' Marvel. Look at how she makes that bird sing!
Amazing! Wish I could fly that plane (severe motion sickness).
Incredible display and video work. Probably an FAQ but what camera and lens is this with please?
Its with a Sony AX53
Wow! @5:12 it seems the fancy high tech sensor under the nose flashes
Watch out, there's a "Wolfe "on the prowl ! Peace ☮️ !
its sad that Kristin isn't flying the demo anymore, but the new pilot on the other hand is awesome too.
And good looking 👌 😌
Saw her doing the F-35 demo at Seafair last year, unforgettable experience!

Fanatstic footage Elwyn as always & amazing display & flying but will always be a Eagle lover over the F-35
Same here! 👍
We never were in any doubt about it’s capabilities. Everyday we get closer to unlocking its full potential.
Great video...thanks.😊
You’re welcome 😊
Wonderful video.
Great footage elwyn!!!
Diolch 😊
Is the mustang joined by an F22 and an F35 at the end?
P51 👌
Great Video, fantastic performance!
awesome video mate :)
Damn what would it be nice to see her opening the weapons bay at 5:10 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Did you have your scanner with you
No not in America
@@ElwynR sure you can get the air traffic over there or put on a speaker

Did she do her makeup first?
No need to! she looks great without it ☺️

And I say, “screw you to those that say she couldn’t fly that plane!!” She’s a badass…
5:12 for a moment you can see the EOTS reflect the unmatched power of the sun
Woo hoo! That's what I'm, talking about! 💪🏻
😍👍 Super Cool Video ! And Yesterday i have buy the F-35A from Trumpeter in 1/32 😁
The Tamiya 1/48 is where it is at though

Such a sexy jet and Thank you to all the Great Men and Women who have served and are serving our Great Nation USA.
This is so epic!
That Raptor driver can really hold his own in a formation.
Did she hang her jacket on the pitot tube? classy
Yep 😇
Absolutely amazing to have her in our Military - top notch.
Nice!!
Thank you! Cheers!
No weapons on demo plane do they go into combat
Wow!! Awesome!! I'm so glad that she is an American fighter pilot!! She reminds me of both of my daughters!!!
who knew the F35 came with external coat hangers :)
☺️☺️

It is outperformed by the F-15, F-16 and F-18, but it's got a lot of Generals, Representatives and Senators that Lockheed bribes.

she almost got the leaf move
Great pilot, great airplane, and great camerawork. But if hanging your equipment on the pitot tube is Air Force SOP, someone needs to re-think that!
"Wolfe is the first USAF female pilot"(sic)
Incorrect
Tell me more 😊
That rumble at 3:04
The F35 is the sexiest aircraft I've seen released to service since the Tornado

Awesome plane, but then the F-22 Raptor shows up, and you realize why we won't export the Raptor. AIR DOMINANCE.
