With an engine noted for its great bottom end and torque for a 250, I can't but help to think that this bike would make a great woods bike once the suspension is softened up.
I have negotiated with several dealers on this bike over the last few years, never pulled the trigger although I did have some nice deals worked out. My problem is always the knowledge of how great the YZ 250F is for not a whole lot more cash once I threw some parts (lighter fork springs, slip-on muffler) on the RMZ. I like them, they are reliable, but unless you really get a deep discount they are not worth buying in my opinion.
@@scottpeters8640 KTM 250SXF is a killer 250cc bike. Engine, tranny & clutch better than all jap bikes. Every review says so. That's gonna be my new '24 250F. 💯
Australia is the same, only a couple of hundred less than the Austrians (then you can factor in the deals that KTM does on last years model which makes them $2000 less than the zook)
Tried and true Zook fan here. Love to be able to get one of these. I've got a restored 2004 Everything from a two seventy athena bigbore Carillo forged piston and rod balanced crank. Still nothing compared to a new one, though dream of mine LO. L.
Be nice to see a good rider on this thing! No disrespect made saying that just looks to ride very reserved especially for a review. Lovely looking bike though!
I know that this bike is down about a pony or two to most the other 250F's, but the tester is a fast guy and if you listen to the video part, he is only at full power for a small amount of the lap. I really doubt that this slight power deficit makes really any difference for track days and enjoying yourself on the track. I had a 270cc 2017 TMZ and it was really nice, aside from the crappy airforks.

In Canada the MSRP of the RMZs is about the same as the other Japanese 250Fs which makes no sense to buy them new. Dealer network is also lacking.

Same w/many places in US. They either SOLD OUT or want full MSRP. If I could get $800 off msrp I'd snag one! -Ohio

2024 Suzuki RM-Z250 Dyno Test
i wonder how this ecu and exhaust would work with a big bore kit. Really like the RMZ's but will only buy one if it's at a good price point.
Get out there an get one. Only have till Jan2 get RMZ army edition w/Pro Circuit full pipe from dealer ($700 value).
It works unreal with vortex ecu and cylinder works 270cc kit and pipe.
I went further with cams and porting and better fuel, but not as needed
@@Davido50they’re doing it again btw. Same deal

Thanks for the Suzuki project. Alot of people still buy them for the price or brand loyalty and there's a shortage of content out there.
What do they do with the bikes after 100 hours ?
Stopped buying any mfr that stopped making 2t. I still have my 2006 rm250 2t. Wont buy another until they start making them again.
Weird exhaust pipe
