I really liked Megaromania and I was very sad when they disbanded. I bought the latest Cure and there was a style council with Sui.
I found on the internet what had happened with the members and I am here.
It's not the same like Megaromania (I won't forget that band) but I am big fan of Sui.

David has such a magnificent voice
I'm glad that Sui has finally begun to write songs that actually comfortable for him to sing. Unlike most of Megaromania stuff was.
How am I listening to this just now!!? I loved Metis Gretel and I am so glad to see Sui specially whe he sound so good with a beautiful song like this

Glad he is experimenting with a higher quality version of the sound that shaped his career earlier (in his Metis days) as well as newer influences. And I hope he sticks to being more active on RUclips again. When David began activities, there were some clever marketing choices but then he drifted into VK obscurity. I hope he can regain the traction/momentum from early 2017.
In my own opinion, his new sound in David is just an evolvement from Megaromania's sound (which were more symphonic and less kote kei than Metis Gretel). He obviously also puts more emphasis on his vocals now and you get more unique-sounding parts because more of the music/instruments/melodies are built upon the already-established vocals than the reverse. This though in turn runs the risk of, in the long term, make the rest of the music sound bland, mediocre and uninspiring. But in the end it's his solo project and if it truly makes him express his creativity, that's the most healthy direction overall, long term. I just wish for that old-school, rough and unpolished sound to make a comeback, but his vocals are unique and I still think this is much better than if he stopped making music altogether, which would have been very unfortunate!
