    Another sublime piece. The amboyna burl was so gnarly at the beginning and yet its inner beauty shines through. When a skilled artist knows their materials, anything is possible.

    Very nice project. looks fantastic! Of course safety is each persons individual responsibility, but suggest you lower your saw blade down. you don't need that much sticking up above the top of your wood. Raise it just enough to clear the gullets of the blade :)

    So gorgeous & an efficient use of materials. Far better than hallowing out a solid block of wood...so painful to watch lol.

      US math. No where near as accurate as the metric system.

    Mensch, stell dein Sägeblatt beim Auftrennen von Holz tiefer.
    Es reicht, wenn die Sägezähne gerade herazsschsuen.
    Ist wesentlich sicherer und fachgerecht!

    I am having difficulty finding a superlative adjective to adequately describethis beautiful work of art!!! I am curious to know if the pieces in the middle section of the jar are end of grain cuts or are they from a burl? Regardless, you sir, are definitely a master craftsman!!!

    I'm just getting into turning, and just found your channel. You've got some beautiful pieces. I have one question for you, why do you turn part of the jar first, then glue on more pieces and then turn some more. As opposed to gluing the whole jar up at once and then turning. Keep up the videos.

      Thank you for watching my video, the reason is that if you turn it as a whole it will feel more difficult because of the deep depth of the vase but when compared to turning it little by little it will feel easier when we turn it

      Eu não uso um programa de computador, para medir o ângulo de 16 peças é 360/16 então o ângulo é 22,5 graus, e se você quiser usar 8 peças então 360/8 45 graus e assim por diante

    How long did you leave the levels on for the glue to work?

      more than 4 hours letting the glue to dry and then get to work

    Are you waiting for the glue to dry before starting to turn it. It also looks like your using white glue, why/

      yes I use white glue, as long as the tail stock can stick to the wood, I don't wait for the glue to dry and it can be done

      Yes that's right, my table saw is broken, the saw blade can't be lowered
