That's right, better kept for display 😁🙏🙏
That's a unique twist on a bowl from a board system. Very good 👍
Thank you very much Mike 🙏🙏
You need to clean rosewood with acetone before glue up ,it is highly oily
thank you for the input.. 🙏
You do really nice work. 😎
Thank you Ray.. 🙏🙏

Beautiful
Thank you 🙏
I definitely concur with your other admirers. All of your work is equally stunning. I am wondering, as it seems no one has asked: What is the very dark colored wood laminated between pieces of Pine? While I might guess Walnut, it looks darker than that.
Thank you very much for your rating of my work..🙏🙏 , the dark wood is rosewood, a black hardwood
@@mayukowoodturning7644 Ok, got it. The 'black' pieces are just another shade of rosewood. Thanks for the response.
Looks great 👍
Thanks 🙏

You're welcome, thanks too Lillie.. 🙏
Is there a way of instructions or what angles you cut your pieces
Yes, all of them have a pattern with each different size with the same angle
@@mayukowoodturning7644 is the angle 30/60 degrees and the size is for example 1” to 2” to 3” to 4”. Is that how you get the smallest to the largest
@@mayukowoodturning7644 by the way I did mean to say these are beautiful work of art.
This is your most beautiful piece yet!
Thank you Rekka.. 🙏
A very beautiful piece of art that bowl is. I will use it just for decoration. You’re a great artist. Subscribing right away!
Thank you for your attention to my work.. 🙏🙏
Beautiful work, looks stunning, take care, John
Thank you very much Siam 🙏
Gorgeous salad bowl.
Thank you 🙏
Beautiful choices of wood and the colors and the grains of wood
Thank you🙏
This was technically difficult and very labor intensive. It takes a mastery of skills to accomplish this magnificent work. I also appreciate not wasting these precious woods by cutting circles and gluing. You saved a lot of wood waste, from the interior. I wonder how you aligned the large circles exactly on the wood without center section?
14:10 - Like a good dressmaker, or woodworker, you aligned the stripes to show a continuity of design and symmetry. This is why it flows so effortlessly on the eye. If those stripes were off center, it would be jarring. This is like matching the grain in wood, or stone, or fabric pattern. This is where the mastery of skills becomes apparent. The design is modern, and made with great precision. You are a master of your craft. Bravo!
In true Japanese style, you left in a few imperfections (hole, knots) to show humility. That is very beautiful too! Subscribed.
Thanks for your rating of my work, the plank bowl is a very wasteful method, to align the large circle on the wood properly it is done simply by gluing a round board exactly side by side with the cut wooden plank and with little by little aligned according to the line pattern on the board
WOW!
Beautiful bowl with an incredible pattern. Take care. 😊
Thanks Copper 🙏🙏
This bowl is absolutely 💯 stunningly beautiful magnificent and spectacular. Wow!!!
Thank you very much Kobie 🙏🙏
That looks great couple of questions do you add anything to the finish or just bees wax. also where do you get your signature coins.
Thank you, I didn't add anything else, just beeswax for finishing, to make my coins a special order at the coin shop
Supero 👍😀👍
Thanks 🙏🙏
Awesome.
Thank you 🙏
Beautiful bowl. Great idea using 2 boards. It has great contrast and you get a nicer curve than the funnels you get when using one. Where do you get the coins w your makers mark from? Thanks
Thank you for your attention to my work, indeed with 2 boards will make many patterns in 1 bowl, I bought it custom at the coin maker shop
As moedas creio que seja feita por .arts.metal
Nice work how much it is
Thank you, it's sold out
Wonderful looking piece. However, I don't see how you achieve a good gluing cut off your table saw for all those thin pieces you glue up. Are you sanding or planing these pieces off camera?
Thank you, yes, I did all the cuts the day before, and I didn't sand the thin pieces, after sawing them, I glued them right away.
This absolutely gorgeous and something I really want to try. What were the board dimensions before cutting them and also where do you get the coins made that you inset in the bottom of the bowl?
Thank you, the size of the board before it was cut was 30cm x 30cm, and for coins I ordered it at the coin shop
You should get a rivving knife on the table saw to mitigate the risk of a kick back.
Хорошая работа!
Top is show.

Subliem!!!!
Dear Mayuko , your work is one of a kind , beautiful and perfect. Can you give me the email or website of the source of your coin you put under each workpiece. I would be grateful to be able to have meins designed.
Thank you 🙏🙏 I made coins at the coin shop in my city
Ok, I can not contact that coin shop without having his email or website.
Where do you live
I live in Indonesia
Hi
Kh to
Why Pine? What's wrong with Ash or Maple? Honestly, Pine isn't a good choice for woodturning
Yes you are right but in my country (Indonesia) it is very difficult to find ash or maple wood, so why don't I use pine
So, let's see yours.
