My Ryobi HP is brand new, when I stop the chisel and lift it then go back onto the material the bit falls forward on the chuck untill I jiggle it around and the bit 'Clunks' back into place deep enough to contact the strike plate. It is really annoying and I'm not so sure it should be doing this. Any suggestions as to why would be appreciated.
Irlam, I just double checked on my tool and the play you are experiencing is normal. As long as the bit doesn't fall out, there will be some play for the bit to move around as it gets impacted. Thanks for watching and the question.
My Bosch SDS Plus bit kit included a 3/4" chisel which I used to cut out some bricks for an electrical box. For concrete I would probably get a kit that has several chisel sizes, this would allow for removing large material and allow for finer chiseling if you are trying to square up a hole.
@@thealatorresquad The 3/4" is the width of the chisel blade and there are numerous sizes which is why I recommend getting bit kit. The widest chisel bit I have seen is 1-7/8". You wanna make sure you are getting SDS Plus bits. Much success for your project.
A quick Google search shows as of today that HD has the tool only for $170, and $239 for tool with battery and charger. I tend not to included prices as they can vary over time, but maybe a ball park number is worth mentioning. Thanks for watching.
What was the 'important safety tip'?
Mick, it was suppose to be about the proper way to use the Aux handle. ruclips.net/video/Y78EQtt-jIw/видео.html

The entry size for the bits would be 3/4? Or will it take 1in-1-1/2
