So, the other day I started putting picture frames up and needed to drill into my double brick walls to install fasteners. Took forever with my "general purpose" Ryobi One+ drill. Now I know what I need to buy before I put the rest of them up. Thanks Morten!!
My test in this video was a little irritating,, I spend 5 min trying to drill a hole in my wall for like a 4-5cm screw,, and had to give up. ( but in the video test my normal drill did work on the rocks,, just took a bit longer) But my new hammer drill here took less than 20sec. to do that job. It's a little DIY hammer drill, I have seen to many that has broken it,, probably expecting to much.
I have a dewalt corded version of the SDS hammer drill and I love it makes extremely quick work of drilling holes in all types of stone and masonry. I would have recommended getting the one with the handle that can swivel at the front of the drill as it helps tremendously when holding the drill and prevents the drill from torquing your wrists when using larger or longer drill bits.
this sparking from the side of this toy need a check probably coming from the Carbon Brushes Coal or it need to clean the armature segmented copper area or Checking the resistance of coil even if this SDS+ is new it is probably have ben stored for long time somewhere so to use it and keep it for long time it need some maintien
I have the Ryobi drill driver. Great for general and screwdriving. This looks way better. Can use the other one as a screwdriver. On larger jobs. Saves changing things over. Convinced me.
AFAICT, that EPTA number is a standardized indication of how hard it can hammer, and 1.3 Joule is not exactly high, which makes sense with a battery tool, but still usable if it is not a speed contest.
Interesting,, so bigger number Joule,, bigger punch. My test in this video was a little irritating,, I spend 5 min trying to drill a hole in my wall for like a 4-5cm screw,, and had to give up. hammer time - you will end up using it - it is not a bosch bulldog but it will do - get some proper bits (pardon the pun!) looks like you did - tools are gold as you know - good comparison - you can get shovel bit to break things up - tile and tough rocky ground and stuff - you won't go back in some cases #night and day
this is the lightest weight hammer drill which has hammer only mode including all other brand's 12v which doesn't have hammer only mode and 18v models on the market. it weigh only 1.6kg. even other 12v models are heavier than this without hammer only mode. in the other hand this one is weakest. but for light use, this is very good one. I love it designed for light one hand use. nowadays tools getting heavier and bigger too much power exceeds for actual needs
Morten, Unky Jow hasn’t posted any RUclips videos for a long time now. He also hasn’t done a Saturday live stream that he usually does. Do you know what is happening with him? Does he have any unexpected health issues?
Hi Yaron Ilan He posted a little massages in his community-tab,, that he was taking a little time off,, 2 weeks ago. It is way more work making a couple of videos every week, than you should think.. especially after doing it for years. I am taking a break in August (my community-tab) Thank you for watching! :-)

The normal body temperature depends on the measurement location. Body temperature varies from 37.1ºC in the rectum to 36.6ºC in the ear and 36.4ºC in the mouth. But whatever we are comparing 38,4C to,, get well soon! :-)
From now on i'm going to call you "LENOBI", combination of two of your favorite product makers, Mr. Lenobi *Cheers*
Lenovo tools and Ryobi Servers,,, well :-)

Hi The_KillShot
Thank You very much! glad you liked the video :-)
Thank you for watching! :-)
in 8000 years archaeologists will ponder over the mysterious holes
Yes,, that will be a weird mystery.
Now you can start drilling a tunnel into the mountain for a secure datacenter.
Have to hold on tight when just starting up the 4 meter in diameter diamond bit cup drill... very tight...
SDS drills are brilliant.
Recommend ear defenders though.
The long bits for drilling through walls are a game changer.
Humm I have not bought ear defenders, yet,, I probably should.

Needs to be run in... maybe.
MAN vs WILD ... episode 12
😂
That was a Rock Hard Solid Episode... good cast :-P
Yes, this little machine, paired with good sbs bits, really is a game changer.
It is a little cute one,, I have gotten a few comments,, that it should not be worked to hard..

Details matter, like rock type and weathering. In the video you could put your weight behind drilling, which is a lot harder in a wall.
This hammer drill took next to no effort,, I was just holding it 😬
Sure, but the point was how slow the old one was, vs the somewhat better performance in the video, where you could lean in.

This is a little hobby DIY tool for the smaller jobs,, making some few holds,, removing some tiles.. It needs lots of brakes :-)
Is this good enough for diy at home . Like making hole for taking wire outside ?
It is working great for me,, still.

This is just for light use,,, I hear that it dies, if you work it to hard. If you need to break up your concrete floor,, bigger is needed :-)

Having fun in portugal?
Thank You,, Yes I am,, this video is from December,, been sitting for a while :-)
Remember to lubricate your bits whilst drilling stone.
Okay,, you do that :-/ I did not know.
@@MyPlayHouse if it's not obvious he means some grease on the chuck end of the drill bit :)
How do you take out the drill bit?
You push back the rubber thing in the front.. to release the drill bit
didn't know you had ryobi tools your way. i have quite a few but need that hammer drill lol
I have lots of them.. and now in two houses.
attach /glue a plate or wood to the battery so it can stand up
Would be smarter to add something to the drill,, as that pieces of wood,, would be irritating on all other tools :-)
@@MyPlayHouse a kickstand , like a motorbike for the drill
Would be smarter if they had balanced it! 🤔
awesomeness
Hi Relaxing Nature

The "spark" from the motor mean it had "brush" motor.
Not the best hummer/drill with low rpm 1.5k only.
Also not big diffrence from brushless drill
This is a little diy hammer drill. I don't think a "brush" motor has to make "sparks" might not be intentionally.

👍super
