Im really excited to see the ideas they have for unreal 5. Ive seen some demos and at least that base engine is very impressive.

The game was made on ue4 from scratch but ported on ue5 so the graphics are not going to look insanely good Aaron Brandon fuck ark 2
I'm still playing Survival Evolved (SE). Excited for this new game but also slightly worried.
The beauty of the original game is the world and emergent gameplay that could come from almost any activity.
When you start splitting parts of the game with cutscenes, I feel it would take away from the emersion and ultimately make you less invested.
I never felt that there was a lack of cutscenes in Ark: SE. In fact, since there is nothing there to get in the way, it becomes a highly focused survival experience that really pulls you into the world, without ever having to try to get you to like characters, like Vin Diesel in this cutscene.
The left over explorer notes were enough for me.
Vin Diesel actually looks like the original Ark Character.. would be hilarious if we got him in Character select on Ark 2 and could "create a diesel" like the first game
tbh i wish there is a story mode but i think a mission on going back to earth to confirmed that we landed on a planet or requesting a ally from earth

I hope that they will still have the character design similar to the ark 1 so we could still remake the quandale dingue.
I think the design will be more in-depth, so you'll probably be able to make your toon look like anything you want 😅

santiago anyway was the guy who died trying to fight the king titan using the megamek, he got respawned after a long time in the end of genesis 2
other survivors are alive such as mei yin and apparently diana (for sure not nerva, i liked him though)

I think it's likely. There's a huge player base that wants pvp, so it might be strange if they didn't include some kind of pvp aspect
I also think that those humanoid savages in Ark 2 are (element) corrupted humans. My question was, will they be playable or only npc?
They very closely resemble the humanoids that Rockwell created (they appear during the gen2 boss fight)
It would be cool if we could play as them though! I hadn't thought of that

SPOILER ALERT ON GEN 2: something i think about ark 2 is that rockwell couldve survived because he survived a fall down a massive pit and he survived planetfall in the aberration ark so what makes you think he dies in another vessel during planetfall while bigger and alot stronger
He wasn't on the part of the ship that crashed to the planet. He was on the main ship that flew off with HLNA and exploded

Darth soul ark 2 wasn't made on unreal engine 5 from scratch it was made from scratch on unreal engine 4 I'm so disappointed men :/

@@TheDarthSoul the source is that they began to make the game in 2019 and unreal engine 5 wasn't even out yet so they made it on ue4 first , you get it ?
@@THELIONMAN7 they announced ark 2 being created on UE5 though. And there was an Ark 2 trailer clip during one of the UE5 announcements at the Game Awards 2021
