How did you make the lights do exactly what you wanted? Like got them to move in the direction and speed. Was it not in a midi effect rack, but the actual midi itself???
He got the light effects by making quite complex midi effect racks. Usually to make lights shows like this you would have midi effect racks within more midi effect racks within more midi effects racks. The reason you have to have it like this is so you can have arpeggiators within larger arpeggiators or note lengths within larger note lengths so you adjust different parts of your lights. The more practice with using these techniques the more complex you can make your lights.
