I am totally grateful to found you, Laura! Your teaching skills is beyond excellent. I have been looking for a teacher like you, who can guide me in learning German in proper ways. I hope you will continue your vision with this. You are helping a lot of people in the universe. Salute!
Brain is fried... But I feel much better after watching your series. Thank you for your help. Happy to spend more time on learning german with your help
Your videos and the explanations are amazing, thank you for making this amazing Summary it will definitely help me a lot. I am about to start my A2 and this will be a key for success!!
Another outstanding -and encouraging-, lesson. Just makes so much sense! Of course Laura speaks good English. What is amazing is that she understands the barriers that native English speakers encounter when seeking to learn German. These tips are not only insightful, they are empowering. Laura doesn't just teach us about German; she teaches us about how to overcome the barriers to learning German. Brilliant!
Hello, I am from Venezuela, and this was one of the best German Learning Videos I have ever seen. Thanks. Hopefully you make a Video of a daily German Learning Routine. I have been learning german by myself, since last year, Have about 6-7 months, but i feel i havent progressed as much As i would like.
Laura! Thank you so much for these wonderful videos. I have actually learned A LOT after watching your videos. Please continue to make these wonderful videos. They are GREATLY appreciated!
I think you mean don't translate word by word, because I don't see anything wrong with translating ideas and meaning, that's what transolators and intrepretors do, and their level in the target language(s) is usually super high.
Just bumped into your videos.. very nice! 🙂 Here is one secret I discovered over more than 30 years of learning languages: You do NOT need to study grammar :) It can be useful knowing some grammar rules, just don't waste a lot of time with it. And do NOT learn vocabulary lists! 😉 Learn languages in a way that's fun for you, fun is key, it makes you keep on learning :) Greetings from Bavaria 🙂
Thank you! I'm so glad you've found a way to learn German (and other languages) that suits your learning style. I'm happy to say that my students have had a lot of success with learning German with my method of teaching grammar as the first priority. It's wonderful that there are options out there for everyone, right? ;-)
@@GermanwithLaura My way of learning German was growing up here in Germany 😊 I studied English and French at school, then Italian, Dutch and Russian. Learning languages is awesome 🙂 I just didn't like the way they tought us languages at school.. just too much grammar and not speaking it enough. When I went to see my relatives in North Carolina after 6 years of learning English at highschool I noticed how bad my English still was 🙄 Then I studied in a way that I enjoyed and made progress very quickly. Danke für die schnelle und nette Antwort Laura, bleib gesund 🙂
Sorry you didn't get what you expected! My approach is to teach students 'how to fish' (i.e. HOW to learn German) vs. 'handing them fish' (i.e. teaching them German itself).

Hi, sister
I am from India. Pls, accept Goethe A1-C2 syllabus for presenting videos. Your videos are amazing. You have a good future. Pls, go forward.
The problem is I have to listen to English for one hour before I hear a word in German!
Sorry you didn't get what you expected! My approach is to teach students 'how to fish' (i.e. HOW to learn German) vs. 'handing them fish' (i.e. teaching them German itself).
@@GermanwithLaura thank for your response!
