if youre broke or frugal you can just buy the army men from the era you want and just paint them like you would models and its pretty much the same but much MUCH cheaper, and you can make it complex rules or more advanced using actual WW1 or 2 or whatever wargame system..
@@arstotzkianarmedforces1057 I know that’s all you need to play the game, but I enjoy painting and assembling and I guess just admiring soldiers from very specific periods in time more than I like actually playing the game

So it’s basically playing Wargames with large single colored soldiers instead of miniature painted ones like the ones from Bolt Action.

You don’t need historically accurate soldier to the last detail. The charm of the regular soldiers is how simple it is.

So this war game would be the vietnam era. The soldiers are Timmy Toys soldiers. They came out in 68. They replaced the old WW2 Timmy Soldiers.
I have the minis, my only issue is creating the "terrain"...
