Welcome to NEIL island, our stay was cut short due to the fact the weather was getting a little stormy, our flight was in the afternoon and we couldn't risk getting the morning ferry so we had to get the government ferry in the evening, luckily got the last 2 tickets!

@keangwooichoo6138 21 islands have been renamed after their war heroes. However, for the time being, they are referred to by both old and new(official) names, so no issues..

So glad u enjoyed the islands. Next time on ur visit to India, try to plan Lakshadweep Islands which is geographically just above Mauritius Island. It has even bluer waters.

Neil Island is a beauty ❤. I have been there 2 weeks ago and I’m still in that trace. No way we can compare to Goan beaches. As you guys said it’s a true paradise 😊
I have stayed in Sea Shell. It’s beautiful, but I really love the attached pool rooms and the floating breakfast concept in this property.❤

Indian names are generally spelt phonetically and can thus be easily pronounced exactly as written. Just follow the syllables - Bha+rat and Si+ta - to avoid mispronouncing the same as Bhatarpur (13:04) or Sitipur (21:50) when the signboards are clear. Terms like Bharat and Sita are also sacred to most Indians.

If you are into beaches you could also visit the Lakshadweep islands that's if you have enough time or else you could also visit the horn bill cultural festival in the 1st week of December in Kohima, Nagaland. Its tourist season during that period of time. From there you could also visit Sikkim.

Guys if you travel to India again I'd like you to travel to the extreme north and northeastern parts of India. You can look up some pictures of Ladakh and Sikkim on the internet if you're curious. Also, Nagaland will be celebrating the famous Hornbill festival during the first week of December in case you're interested.
Next time don't forget Sundarbans. Stay there in good hotel near jungle or in the jungle, do boat safari, enjoy local vibe tribal tradition. And please please don't forget about Nagaland, the hornbill festival .

I was there last year and Airtel works fine as long as you're not staying near Sitapur Beach and even around SItapur Beach you have hotels which offer wifi.
