Hey Amy! Love the cool Sherlock edition! Love the fatal fudge swirl! Oooh maple! Yeah! Oooh love hot chocolate Little women is always my comfort read too!!!! I usually read it every year @ Christmas!!! Oooh yes brownie!! I love that description…smell likes the woods after it rains!! Love it! Oh cute! The village charm coloring book is sooo cute!! A trip with trouble was a favorite of last year for me!!!! Love the Cajun country series This was sooo fun!!! ❤❤❤❤
That looks like a blast! I’m reading A Novel Murder right now, and this sounds just like those events in the cozies where they have the literary festivals!
Thank you so much for sharing your fall favorites! My favorite drink in the fall is the St. James Tearoom Pumpkin Pie Tea. I also like making a dairy free hot cocoa. My favorite fall book is the Diva Runs Out of Thyme by Krista Davis.
Creative Haven coloring books are my weakness! They have great Christmas ones too. Pre-Halloween I'm focusing on books involving witches but I'm going to try to read A Trip with Trouble in early November. Thank you for the tag!
Sherlock Holmes reminds me of Fall too! So does Rebecca. Also enjoy Mary Stewart's books, which are very gothic. My favorite autumn drink is coffee with cream! I do love Peppermint Tea occasionally. Apple Crisp is something I look for to in Autumn. I'm looking forward to reading Read it and Weep by Jenn McKinlay from the Library Lovers series which has a fall theme.
My favorite autumnal drinks and eats have been Cinnabon coffee, Dunkin Butter Pecan coffee, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin spice shake, maple donut, apple pie, chili and cornbread. Autumnal covers A Doomful of Sugar by Catherine Bruns, Checking Out Crime by Laurie Cass, The Black Cat Sees His Shadow by Kay Finch, The Skeleton Haunts a House by Leigh Perry, and No Escape Claws by Sofie Ryan (all in series I recommend too). I prefer reading early in the morning. Ultimate comfort read for me the Paddington Bear series. I re-read them this year and it was like balm for my soul and nostalgic. Favorite autumnal activity outside of reading is birding. My two current reads take place in the Fall - A Berry Suspicious Death by Peg Cochran and Scooping Up Scandal by Emmie Lyn. The latest books in two of my favorite cozy mystery series. Fall new releases that come out next week that I want to read are Fondue or Die by Korina Moss and In the Blink of a Pie by Catherine Bruns (in two more of my favorite cozy mystery series).
I have my Cinnamon Bun Book Store book to read, got out my tea bags (I flavor with cinnamon or raspberry) and a piece of cinnamon pumpkin coffee cake (It's from Kroger but really good). Now I can check out some of your book possibilities to add to my list. 🍁🎃📚🍁
My favorite drink is always tea. Year round d, no matter the temperature. It can be 90 out and I'm drinking hot tea, always w/ milk. I favor black teas (Scottish Bkfst, Yorkshire, Ceylon,Glenghetti, Assam, to name a few). There are very few herbals I like, 2 or 3 maybe. Like hot cocoa in winter too. Little Women is my ALL time, best ever book! I collect different editions of it. Unfortunately, don' T have my original childhood copy. Alcott is A fave author of mine also. Have many of her books, books about her life. I grew up in Lexington Massachusetts which is the town next to Concord. Have been in Orchard House many, many times. I am finishing up Jayne Eyre presently. I had soooo many cozy mysteries set out to read but will never get to all! My favorite snacks are Blueberry muffins, graham crackers, Irish Soda bread (hand made) muffins in general and home made scones, YUM! I also like coloring! Creative Haven has nice bks. I found a new brand and the Fall one is absolute g charming! Coloring Book Cafe (brand) Cozy Autumn. Love the size also! I have been coloring for yrs. and have way too many bks!! ALWAYS read some stories, poems from my huge Edgar Allen Poe Collection/Anthology. Autumn is my favorite color🤗 Thank you Amy!
Alcott is incredible! I've read some books about her and would love to visit Orchard House. So cool that you've been there! That sounds like a fantastic coloring book! I might need to check that out. Fall is the best 💛
Not sure if it is really Fall themed but so love the Raspberry Zinger tea from Celestial Seasonings. That Blueberry Lavender tea sounds good, I am going to have to look that up. I am currently reading Fatal Fried Rice, this series is so good. After that reading Murder at the Pumpkin Pageant and The Chateau.
I am! It's from an Etsy shop called TeaLeafBooks. Their designs vary based on what they have in stock, but I recommend them! The book sleeve is super nice.
