IKR!! Im always amused how many women feel humiliated when talking about the subject, I talk about my period so freely at home because I had issues in my ovaries and my big brother was always so supportive with my treatment, and because my brother sees the menstruation as something normal and dangerous for a woman if isn't openly talked he's being a great boyfriend supporting his girlfriend whenever she feels bad or embarrassed about the subject. Menstruation is important to be normalized because it can save a woman's life because it can give a woman hints about cancer or other illnesses in the uterus.
Well, I agree that woman shouldn't be disgusted with them selves or ashamed of this as a normal bodily function, but I also don't think that it is something that you can bring up with just anyone.
it's important to tell the little boys. this is how i explained the menstruation to my 6 years old son : it's blood kept in the womb to prepare a comfy nest if a baby was to grow there. and when there's no baby, the blood is useless so it comes out. the end. he only thing he worried about was "how do you manage to replace all the blood you lose??" seems he thought it was a life threatening loss :D i hope that when he grows up he'll never shame a girl for that.

Society teaches woman to be embarrassed about their period. Kinda like covering up a doll's chest area is teaching young woman to be embarrassed of their own body. I used to have some designated dolls that I would play with in the tub, and of course I did what hextian did with the loose hank of hair with the dolls! It was soooo satisfying, even while still attached to the doll’s head.

I’m still proud of naomi for having the nerve to make that decision - even Manila knew it was a smart move considering naomi hadn’t won any challenges and manila was a clear front runner (ahead of trinity), and that manila would have no problem eliminating naomi. While it’s sad that she made the decision to eliminate her, i still love them both equally and people need to stop being so hateful. It’s a competition lol, i’d do the same if $100,000 was on the line 🤷♂️

I used to have some designated dolls that I would play with in the tub, and of course I did what hextian did with the loose hank of hair with the dolls! It was soooo satisfying, even while still attached to the doll’s head.
