talk about settling into pores!!! I agree with that. No matter what I do, this product settles into the pores in my nose and turns them white. Mature, combination skin. This sits on top of my skin with or without skincare and/or primer under it. I'm looking for something else.
Thank you for the review. I use it over my spf and find it lasts all day and looks great. I’m a dry skin type as well. Can I ask what you have on your lips? So pretty!
I’m glad it works for you! Thanks for sharing. Yep of course, it’s a lip combo using Merit & Exa! You can find all links/shades here: shopmy.us/collections/828271
I have dry mature skin and love the Suncoverup. I do not use it as a sunscreen. I always use sunscreen before any makeup product and this one is no different no matter the marketing. It only works if you use it this way, which means using way less than you are. Just use a pump like you would any tinted makeup with sunscreen and it is beautiful. I have had so many people complimenting my skin and it lasts all day. A nice glow but not too much and really just looks like my skin is hydrated and evened out and healthy. Light coverage. I do think it works best on drier skin types and wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin. Always thankful for your reviews, Brit.
I'm exactly the same as you at 60. I wear Colorscience SPF for protection for the PA+++ factor. Less is always more on mature skin, imo. I love RMS products.
Still waiting for one that will work for me. Your reviews are what I wait for and depend upon. Thank you always for all the effort you put into your videos 🎉😊
Thank you for so much detail! It’s easy for a creator to throw this on their skin, and say wow it’s so pretty I recommend this to anyone. But like you, this RMS product gave me breakouts! There are two known pore clogging ingredients: Ethylhexyl Palmitate and Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate. Additionally, potassium sorbate, (can cause skin irritation) sodium benzoate (increases inflammation) and titanium dioxide are all ingredients I typically avoid. Maybe the sodium benzoate gave you redness? I received a sample at the Blue Mercury counter in Macy’s. Thought it looked nice on the skin, did not emphasize my pores like the RMS foundation does, but did see a bit more settling than with the 14e tint. Was hoping this would be a good “weekend skin” makeup, but I’ll stick to the Beauty by Earth tinted SPF for that. Though not spf, the new Ogee serum foundation is blowing my mind!
You are welcome 💜 as always, I appreciate the kind words. Also I love the detail you shared here thank you!! Oh and I am picking up the Ogee today! Per your suggestion. I’m so curious to see how it goes.
@@BrittWitkincant wait to see a review on the Ogee serum. Ironically, I was debating b/t OGee and this very same RMS product for my next complexion product.
So, dewy or oily? Have you tried this product yet? I'd love to hear everyone else's experience. You can check out the full Scorecard here: bit.ly/3TDbJq6 + The links to my makeup are in the video description! 💜
I decided to try a different product. Have you tried Alastin hydratint pro mineral sunscreen? It's the only tinted sunscreen that doesn't make me break out. I got it on Amazon for $78
My mature dry skin would probably like this foundation, a bit pricey though... I've tried a few RMS products and so far my favorites are the Hydra Powder blushes/bronzers and their primer... have you tried their Hydra setting powder? it's kinda new-ish I believe, I'm looking for a setting powder that doesn't look dry and chalky... any recommendations?... thnx!
I haven't! This review made me want to stay away for a minute lol. But, I have received several requests for my thoughts on the powder. If they continue to stack up, I can give it a shot! I loved the combo of the Jones Road WTF with their tinted powder. I dive into it more here if you're curious: bit.ly/3zbEuR4
There are chemicals that increase the Sunscreen PA levels. Even if there is only 12% . I don't remember what the chemical is but is basically a catalyst for increasing sun protection. So they dint have to inidate the product with zinc oxide. It allows them to add less by having the chemical catalyze the sun protection rating up.
I thought the release of a spf was kind of strange, I was expecting like a liquid concealer or something because they have foundation and recently a new powder (and just released an spf product). I was gonna purchase this but I have the odacite one so I think I’m gonna pass. Thank you for your review ❤
Yep, the launch seemed a bit off for me as well, and I saw the new powder, too. Something feels amiss, but either way, you are so welcome! Glad you found it helpful💜
This is absolutely a product you would use on top of a base layer of SPF not as your SPF. That’s how YTers are recommending using products so that’s what they are formulating for. The volume of product is a clue as to usage. I haven’t picked this one up yet but Odacite is phenomenal.
thanks for sharing 💜- for me, that would make the finish look even worse. SPF 50 to wear on top of base sun protection seems unrealistic to me, especially when it's marketed as a sun-protection tint. I love to see other opinions though, thanks again
I have the other RMS SPF tinted moisturizer situation, too. I got medium, too. I also wish I got the light. But I do like that one quite a bit, actually. But I don’t think I would pay that price for it again so I’m definitely not going to try the new one!
Just a tip. Don’t use so much. Use a spf underneath. Don’t use it a a tinted sunscreen. It’s really a tinted moisturizer. Rms marketed this wrong. I have normal skin but I have seen people with oily skin not liking it.
Most makeup with SPF are not worth the buy. I just used real sunscreen . Maybe for some they feel something is better than nothing I guess. I’ve found with RMS less is more.

Thanks you for your honest review 👍 truly I was wondering about differences between rms spf 50 sun cover and rms super natural ❤
oh perfect! you're welcome

Thank you for the honest review. I had this in my RMS basket but have since deleted. Love RMS but will pass on this one.

It isn’t a tinted spf. It’s a tinted moisturizer with added spf. You should never rely on your makeup products for spf.
Thanks for the review. I thought this was going to be it, but alas, the search must go on.

100%. I have normal skin and it’s pretty. You would just use your normal amount you use as a foundation or skin tint.
@@BrittWitkinthink of it as just added sunscreen.

Re: the newer RMS liquid complexion products, I agree with you, less is more.
Mine had a sweet sickening smell. It deters me from using it.
oooof, not good. I'm big on scents, and that would deter me as well, granted mine didn't have it. I guess I got a less stinky batch. 🤷🏻♀️
It looks too wet...
