Hello Tara, I first want to thank you for all the great videos you share. I love the way you teach. I have a little suggestion about finding the size for your labels, Avery has a free print your own ruler. It's an extra step but you can print out a ruler to measure all your jars and bottles. Then use the rulers in Canva to measure the size you need. Have a great day. Hope this helps someone! LOL
thanks for the tip! i don’t have to do that process since i use cricut to make my labels, i just showed that method for those who don’t use cricut. but good to know canva has a ruler.
This was such a fantastic demonstration so detailed and absolutely loved how you slowed it down to show everything you clicked on. I’ve always wanted to try using pick monkey. Thanks Tara ❤
i’m so glad you enjoyed! i’ve been using picmonkey for as long as i can remember so i love it! 😍 i’ve tried canva and it seems almost identical. they have many or almost all the same features.
Mis TaraLee, you are a beautiful and kind young lady who shares your time and knowledge with the world, thank you very much! I needed the information that you shared on RUclips. Blessing with your business always!!
Girl you’re amazing! All of this is been very confusing for me except for the FDA labeling because well, can’t get any more clear-cut than that lol but the packaging and getting everything together and presentable is what confuse the hell out of me because I’ve never done this before.
Hi Tara! I bought the Venus sensitive wash from your Etsy shop twice now and so far I love it! I have all 3 pink purple and clear. The only thing is that the labels aren't waterproof. I leave my bottle in the shower of course that's where I use it and water does get underneath the label and the label keeps falling off so I'm left with the sticker back side on the bottle. I love your product and I will continue to purchase because the formula is good. Anyway thanks so much for all your creative formulas! 😘💖💜🤍
so there is a reason for that! i’m so sorry! so remember in this video when i mentioned there is a shadow sometimes. so i bought a new label paper hoping it would not cause shadowing. because at the time i didn’t know the cause of the shadowing. i used that new label paper on the first few sets of venus labels i made not realizing they weren’t waterproof (it said waterproof when i bought them so i figured they’d work and i wouldn’t have to test them) so this is why the labels on yours isn’t waterproof. i’m so sorry! do you have any other products of mine that aren’t in the 8 oz plastic bottles? test those labels in the water and you’ll see what i’m explaining
I just found her for the first time because I'm trying to figure out the most cost-effective way to waterproof my labels. I'm actually impressed with how well this tutorial was!
I HAVE NEVER MET ANOTHER TARA LEE! :) For me, it's my first and middle name.🥰I was halfway through this video before I noticed. LOL. So lovely to virtually meet you, and thank you so much for the tutorial. I got so tired of looking at the bulk labels on Etsy and Amazon, knowing they had things I didn't need and not things I do. Thanks, Tara! Appreciate the tutorial.
Just a tip for the first part, Avery has printable label with the sizes on them and all shapes also. You don’t even need to sign up. Instead of trying over and under and wasting paper.
i’m aware of that, but they don’t offer customers sizing. and custom sizing is why people have to make their own labels. and with the trial and error of getting the size right you only waste one paper. just use the same paper each time you print.
I’ve been telling people on tiktok to make their own. I’m glad you made a video. I would just suggest putting it in a dark bottle because it gives it a longer shelf life 😊
It was a great tutorial and really loved the way you teach every simple details and I loved the way you mentioned where u learned that technique most people don't post but sister your really great you help others and this is very great.
Great Video Tutorial, regardless that it’s longer, your content is really great, and very interesting informative. Well done thanks for sharing this information. Laura in Uk
I’m having an issue with ghost printing and I came to see if you did too and you do. Glad to hear that it may not be my printer! I’ve wasted so much clear paper. I’m going to try and print from a pdf form
Yes, yes, can you please make a video explaining What size labels we should use for what type products? And what size spot should be on those labels? Because that's whole, so all that stuff confuses me.
I've always used Online labels. I use the vinyl and clear labels. They are awesome, but eventually as they spend time in a wet environment, the labels do flake off. This was very interesting to watch, but boy is it a lot of work! With Online labels they have their own create a label program which is nice. No flipping back and forth. I wondered if you'd ever tried their labels? If so, what did you think? I'm always curious what other makers think. I know there are tons of makers who prefer Avery. I happen to think they are really high priced. It is convenient that their is a place where home crafters can go to make labels! Years ago, that wasn't the case. I'm greatful, as I make labels for skincare, soap, bath treats and candles. Which is why I like the convenience of a program like Online Labels.
SUPER-helpful info as always, Tara! B/c of your similar video last year, I bought a Cricut, followed your instructions and now make professional-looking labels that I love! Quick-question: do you know if the Explorer 2 can cut round labels, either made in the design space or using the print-then-cut feature? I've seen conflicting info and haven't been able to figure it out.
Hey love the video, one tip for cutting with laminate sheet over the black line. I saw on a RUclips video and tried myself, you put matte transparent scotch tape over the lines. Then go over the black lines with a black marker.
@@TaraLeee it's probably around the same amount of time to cut out the 6x9 piece. Lol it's one of those battles you gotta ask yourself are you willing to do.
Hey Tara I’ve been watching a lot of your vids and ive seen that u only do body scrub dupes and no skincare xx can u please do a Cerave or the ordinary dupe😩🙏
hi there, i make a lot more than body scrub dupes. those are just 3 out of the 100’s or recipes i’ve shared. i actually have a dupe of the cerave body lotion on my patreon - www.patreon.com/taraleee
Yup! I wanna do that sometime. There are a lot of changes coming in the FDA right now so I’m kinda waiting for them to figure out what’s going on. They have a lot of things currently in the air still with the new cosmetic regulation act that was passed at the end of last year.
@@TaraLeee thanks! Also I’ve been binge watching your videos because they’re amazing but I was just curious if you have a chemistry degree or how you learned all this?!
Tara from what website did you get the blossom dropper bottle from? I love how it looks different from the regular dropper bottles I've seen everyone use.
GREAT VIDEO! I have a cannon ink jet printer specifically bought for photos and crafting. Crafting as in labels, or decals for just about everything, cars, mailboxes, cups, and even to make nail decals. I've bought waterproof vinyl paper, and sticker paper both white and clear. I also bought krylon crystal clear coating. The krylon spray has a permanent, protective gloss finish, it's non-yellowing, moisture resistant and dries the labels in minutes. I've seen others on RUclips instructions for t-shirt graphics designs and nail decals, but not labels although I'm sure they're out there. My question now is, wouldn't an ink jet printer be ok if it's like mine, Or should I return everything for a laser printer?
i really can’t say for sure since idk about the printer. but if it prints and the ink doesn’t smear when it gets wet then it would work, but since it’s ink traditionally ink jet printers will smear, but idk about this specific one
@@TaraLeee I tried it out yesterday and thankfully it worked! I made a bumper sticker for my car since it was going to rain for about 6 hours; and its still good as new! Thanks for responding! In case someone else ask about using an ink jet printer or good cutting machine, i left the ones i purchased below... Canon PIXMA TS9521C All-in-One Wireless Crafting Photo Printer - Print Scan Copy - 12"x12" Borderless Print, Auto Document Feeder, AirPrint, 4.3" LCD Touchscreen, SD Card Slot, Works with Alexa. And the cutter.. Silhouette Cameo 4 Pink Bundle with Vinyl Starter Kit, Heat Transfer Starter Kit, 2 Autoblade 2, CrafterCuts Vinyl Tool Kit, 120 Designs, and Access to Ebooks, Tutorials, & Classes.
I don't know what I am doing wrong but when I try to print. It's not printing my labels it only prints a box with numbers at the top and alphabets on the side
I watched your waterproofing labels from 2021 - does that info still hold true? The only thing you used was a laser printer and sticker weather prof paper.
Hello, Thank you for this video it has been so helpful! I am having an issue printing small though..it seems to come out blurry...I have even tried DPI converting but still blurry. Can you possibly advise on how to stop this? Thank you very much for your help.
So on the pic monkey when I hit Blank Canvas, mine doesn’t have where I can scroll down and pick those measurements, it stops at Facebook… please help.

Right! I've struggled with my labels rubbing off the ink after a few uses. So I ordered the laminated paper as soon as she recommended it. 😅

You can likely clean those mats with Dawn dish soap and a gentle scrub. They stay sticky after that.
i’ve tried and it never makes them as good as before. or maybe i just suck at cleaning them.
@@TaraLeee 🤣 I get it. I think sometimes we clean too well. I scrubbed the sticky off more than one mat when I started with my cricut.

Thanks for watching! I used the regular
I wish you could have teach me one and one how to do the labels ❤.

Have you tried the labels in a sublimation printer? That's all I have and was wondering if it would still work
Any chance there’s an eco-friendly way to do this?

thank you!!😊
How about if you want to print somewhere else and cut it with your Cricut?

Are these labels also oil resistant as well? I make body oils so if they are that would be perfect.
Do the laminating sheets work for lip balms too? I’m having issues with my lip balms labels scratching off 😢
