I currently have astigmatism and I am filled with anxiety right now because of it worsening I have started to do exercises to prevent it from worsening but still I am filled to the brim with anxiety that ill loose my sight and won't be able to do almost all the things I regularly do and cherish to do I don't know how I got it but my likely guess is from my father who also has astigmatism

Low astigmatism like 0,25 or 0,5 may dissapear, even combined eith farsightess or nearsightess but, you still need to take care of your eyes, so the astigmatism can decrease

Values of up to 2 diopters are normal.
Use a Spherical Equivalent for 20/20.

I feel like trash cause my astigmatism most probably arose from me rubbing my eyes..

I'm 12 yrs old now worried at my eyes because of me.
95 % of eyes have cylinder.
It is just normal.
I use Spherical equivalent.
All normal eyes have cylinder. Anything less than 2 Diopters, does not require "correction".
I prescribe Spherical Equivalent for myself, for normal astigmatism.
Still have 20/20.
Dude i have 1.5 diopters :( but i see double…how can you say anything below 2 diopter is normal? I can see far away but double vision suck
I have 0,5 diopters and i can really see perfect from close range and far away. I am 14 years old btw and i never use glasses in class or at home, which i don’t even have.
@@firedave9843 well you should wear glasses until you are 18 or your astigmatism will increase because you eyes are still developing. Otherwise you will have to wear them for the rest of you life

hello my the doctor when im on hostpital i lose one lung since 4 years old and when i get confine the doctor said the drug that i take can get ur eye blurred or something they test me on my eye is clear no blurred and i get confine i think 7 yearls old im 11 now my astigmatism is so high hut not very high i wish theres some a drug that can astigmatism gone

It depends on which axis of the cornea the curvature is greater.

Bro it all depends on how you put pressure on your eye, put your head so you lean on your eye slanted so it stops having astigmatism. Eventually it will work.
