This video is biased and misleading. It does not provide a fair and objective comparison of ChatGPT and Copilot Pro. It only shows the cases where ChatGPT performs better, but ignores the cases where Copilot Pro excels. It also does not mention the limitations and drawbacks of ChatGPT, such as its lack of integration with IDEs, its inconsistency and unreliability in code generation, and its potential ethical and legal issues. On the other hand, it downplays the advantages and features of Copilot Pro, such as its faster and more stable performance, its compatibility with Microsoft 365 apps, and its ability to create images with AI. This video is clearly trying to promote ChatGPT over Copilot Pro, without giving the viewers a balanced and informed perspective. I suggest you do your own research and try both tools yourself before making a decision. Don’t trust this video. It is not a credible source of information.

Copilot Pro allows 18000 input, and with 128k context, I find it far more useful than ChatGPT.

ChatGPT 4o is years ahead at the moment

  • @pan_cimrman

You need to use copilot within an IDE like vscode to be able to evaluate it.

  • @tomdanielsofficial

Now in Copilot Pro there is "Notebook", which has a context window of 18000

The code instruction: "Begin with a one-sentence summary of the main goal for clarity. I appreciate concise, step-by-step instructions tailored to the specific code or files I'm currently working on. Please provide code snippets or configurations that are directly relevant to Visual Studio Code, macOS, React, Firebase. When referencing external resources or suggesting solutions, consider the context provided about my project, its current state, expanded functionalities, and Firebase integrations. Before providing any step-by-step instructions, first ask for clarification on the specific updates or changes I'd like to make. Avoid making assumptions about installed packages or completed steps unless explicitly mentioned."

What do you think about no code as a starter for an MVP just to get the ball rolling then create something more specialized with your own proprietary code as your company gets bigger?

  • @GreenBlueWalkthrough

Great video! And as a Co-pilot enjoyer I agree it has limits and bugs so I think you werre perfectly fair and gives some reason for people to still use ChatGPT over Co-Pilot.

  • @ejh237

gosh, did my (on topic) comment get censored?

  • @nocodecreative

Is there a message limit on copilot pro?

  • @erictaylor687

Great idea on using the Custom Instructions for this specific purpose.

  • @nathanbanks2354

The context window is *huge*. I was tempted to switch to Claude before GPT-4 released the 128k context window last fall (

  • @lechampi2237

please for all developers what is the best AI you use on the market??

Do you think there's any purpose to making a GPT profile specifically for coding given the sunshine and cross memory systems going on (and limits on custom instructions).

  • @Mohith7548

I honestly prefer Copilot than Chatgpt:

  • @dgoullet1

Thanks good one. Would love to see ChatGPT against Google Gemini for programming

  • @ReinkeDK

What about ChatGPT compared to Github Copilot?
