I’m listening right now as I’m typing. Caught my eye because my little sister (who was a rolling stone, always traveling and living all over the U.S) This was one of her favorite songs. She passed from an accidental overdose during the pandemic. She was running from and searching for something simultaneously. The HAPPIEST sad person I ever knew and I miss her so much. When I hear this song it hits different now.
@@frontroom thank you 🙏🏾💛. Btw I LOVE you and your father’s relationship. You two are very blessed to have each other 💯. Thank you for sharing yourselves with us 💛
"19" is her best album. Just immaculate. "Hometown" used to stay on repeat for me. So beautiful and emotional. I would love to see dad react to "My Little Love" by Adele.
Everyone has a favorite Adele song, so you’ll get plenty of recommendations…but one I think is particularly good as an intro to her songwriting and vocal is “Take it All” from 21. A masterpiece in heartbreak. Love your channel!
Londoner here! Funny enough this song may not be hiphip/rap but it did actually have a huge influence on the UK rap scene. A lot of UK rappers based in London sampled this song. Adele is singing about her hometown London, so you can only imagine the amount of London rappers who did their own spin of the song 😅
I think this is my all time favourite song of hers. Holds a sweet spot in my heart as a Londoner and her early music is her best. Always respect your reactions nevertheless.✨
All the reasons you guys aren’t pulled in are the all the reasons I love Adele. 😂 Beautiful voice and I love the drama. As my son says “I love a crescendo”. Enjoyed the reaction.
If you want a song by Adele that will really give you an emotional reaction, you guys have to listen to her song called "All I Ask" from her album 25. You'll need tissues.
I don't think they'd like it, unfortunately. "All I Ask" is, intentionally according to Adele, one of the loudest and most overly dramatic songs in her discography and they stated that those are the reasons they generally don't enjoy her music.
"Daydreamer" the opening track may be more Dad's taste, There are some really beautifully stripped back songs on that album where the lyrics are paramount and delivery second. Her cover of "Make You Feel My Love" is noteworthy. For me Adele's 19 was the first album where I learned how to sing every song and know the lyrics to this day, because it hit right at a time in my life where I was exploring music on my own and trying to find new things to listen to and it spoke to me. The song that gets me emotionally is "Million Years Ago" from 25.
the power in her voice, the conviction and care in her amplifying the simplicity of the everyday and the mundane. it’s sincerity and whimsy is freeing I feel ✨
One great Adele song is ‘love in the dark’ I think the lyrics are just amazing . You should definitely react to more Adele songs. She’s one of those artists that just transcends generations. Absolutely adore her and I’m in my late teens.
The fact that I've been waiting for ya'll to react to any Adele and then you say you're reacting to her because you heard this song in the Maison Margiela Artisanal Collection 2024 show, which is my favorite fashion show ever, is just amazing. All my worlds colliding lol love it!!! Hope to see reactions to her albums on the channel ♥
Man, I wish you would listen the whole way through without stopping or commenting over.. the emotional crescendo in this song builds and builds and you really get that feeling if you don’t start and stop.. especially since you’re not Adele fans.
Damn - saw her live this August in Munich! Absolutely incredible. The song’s that when she sang live blew me away were “Hold On” and “One and Only”. The lyrics are somewhat poetic… worth a reaction/listen!!
Dad should've heard it live. That's the only version I heard and love it. But really the song has always made me nostalgic and ruminate about the neighborhood I grew up in especially how gentrification has changed it...and not for the better. 🥺
I remember exactly where I was driving in 2008 when this song first played out over the radio when nobody knew who Adele was. It still gives me chills to listen to it even now, 16 years on. She is a wonder ❤
The best cover of this song I ever heard was by James McArthur on one of these talent shows. I didn’t get the song before he covered it but hearing his cover made me fall in love with it.
I suggest you guys watch and react to the Chasing Pavements video by Adele. I'm around the same age as her and I remember when this video dropped, it really made me fall in love with Adele and the entire 19 album.
This, first love, and daydreamer have always been my faves from this album. Such a timeless voice. Her tribute to George Michael was such a beautiful rendition as well.
This is the first song Adele ever wrote. She was 16 when she wrote it. It's an ode to her hometown - London. Please, react to more of Adele. 'Turning Tables' or 'One and Only' next, please ❤😊
Not sure if you guys will see this, but I thought "Rewind" by Nas would be a great song for you guys to try to unpack...also ther's 2 Tupac tearjerkers..."Thugs Mansion" and "My Block". I'd love to see you and your dads reaction and breakdown to any of those! Great stuff. Keep it up!
I think Caroline Polacheks ”Desire, I Want To Turn Into You” is something you guys would really enjoy!! Especially ”Welcome to my island” and ”Pretty in possible” and ”I believe”
19 21 and 25 are elite albums. There was also a mixtape back in the days that took songs from her 1st album and used old school hip hop beats, it's called Adele 1988, if you can find it, I'm sure you will both enjoy it.
Apparently 'Hometown Glory' was what she called a 'breakthrough' in her songwriting. It's about London, and was inspired when she came back from a protest against the war in Iraq (hence the political lyrics in parts). Truly amazing song.
Adele is My Favorite Singer I'm Really Loved Chasing Pavements, Rolling In The Dee, Rumor Has It ,Someone Like You, Set Fire To The Rain, Hello Easy On Me, SkyFall :James Bond 007 Movie Theme Make You Feel My Love.
Hmm Adele is a power house, and usually build up the momentum in her songs which a lot of us can appreciate. Some slower and softer songs of hers that still have a very powerful impact for me are: My Little Love Lovesong Woman Like Me Hope you enjoy :)
I know i mentioned Billie Eillish having a James Bond theme song "No Time To Die", Adele might have one of the biggest James Bond theme songs with "Skyfall" both should be checked out.
@The FrontRoom The very first song that I ever heard by Adele was Chasing Pavements and Hometown Glory, two of my favorite songs. Songs that I would recommend listening to by Adele would be... 1). Chasing Pavements 2). Turning Tables 3). Make You Feel My Love, which would definitely tug on your dad's heartstrings for sure, trust me. 4). One And Only Just to name a few for next time. Also, for you and your dad's next video, can y'all listen to Ed Sheerans albums, please? I have a really great recommendation for a cover song Mashup of one of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith songs as well if you guys are interested!
Please react to Raye Singing Oscar Winning Tears live at the Royal Albert Hall. Raye won the most ever Brit Awards in one show. more than Adele, Amy Winehouse etc.... She has also won awards at the EMAs MTV awards and has now been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards including best new artist and best songwriter. This performance is phenomenal not to be missed
Adele - chasing pavements is phenomenal

Hometown Glory is one of absolute my favorite songs and it surprises me how many people don’t know this song
This song is so underrated. Probably my all time favourite Adele song 🥹🥹🥹
You guys should def listen to some more of her stuff, I'm sure she's gonna break your "Adele barrier" haha
Ready and willing! (Kai's dad)
@@frontroom Check out "All I ask", just make sure you have some tissues, its emotional
@@frontroomdefinitely try Someone Like You - more emotional and the lyrics will get you!

Take it all used to rip me apart 😩
One of my all time favorite Adele songs for sure

I can't help but think of Roll Safe on Fire In The Booth when I hear this song lol
Another Londoner here! I 1000% agree it defo was a cultural reset at the time- it had a huge impact on rap and even grime
I think this is my all time favourite song of hers. Holds a sweet spot in my heart as a Londoner and her early music is her best. Always respect your reactions nevertheless.✨
She wrote this was she was 16 btw

Came here to say the same thing. All I Ask makes me feel heartbroken even if I’m not.
Please listen to the whole album!! Truly my favorite adele album

19 is my favorite album and Hometown Glory was the first song I heard that locked me in. It's my favorite. More than her big hits.
Melt My Heart To Stone from 19 is god tier
21 is packed with masterpieces so is 25 and 30 has her best songwriting imo
the power in her voice, the conviction and care in her amplifying the simplicity of the everyday and the mundane. it’s sincerity and whimsy is freeing I feel ✨
❤❤ fond memories of discovering Adele through this and her early live recordings
Beautiful, love from across the pond 🇬🇧❤️
This is the Adele I loved back in the days.
Turning Tables is my favorite Adele song.
This is my second after chasing pavements!
listen to “To Be Loved” it’s a more mature Adele and sounds a amazing. really showcases her range. it will break him lol. very emotional song.
It's 2024, how come he hasn't heard this before? I love your channel 🎉

literally the one adele song i love
My oldest daughter and I used to watch a dance competition show called SYTYCD And I learned of this song through a phenomenal dance 💃🏾
Man, I wish you would listen the whole way through without stopping or commenting over.. the emotional crescendo in this song builds and builds and you really get that feeling if you don’t start and stop.. especially since you’re not Adele fans.
I remember when this came out when I was in highschool, been a fan ever since! It’s a classic and one of the songs that got her noticed world wide.
I knew Adele growing up she lived in the same street as me in Tottenham London. Little did I know what she would become!
By far my favorite Adele Song 😭
Can you review Amy Whinehouse? Her voice/sound is really unique and good, and so is her music!
🥹 “wake up alone” might make Dad tear up
Damn - saw her live this August in Munich! Absolutely incredible. The song’s that when she sang live blew me away were “Hold On” and “One and Only”. The lyrics are somewhat poetic… worth a reaction/listen!!
19 is my favorite album of hers. You should listen if you haven’t yet. It’s very different from her more popular songs.
My favorite album. This one and the second album. Her voice makes me think of autumns in Europe. Especially in this song and Turning Tables.
Dad should've heard it live. That's the only version I heard and love it. But really the song has always made me nostalgic and ruminate about the neighborhood I grew up in especially how gentrification has changed it...and not for the better. 🥺

I’ve been waiting for this for longer than y’all know
I think your dad would love "Oh My God" because it is a very different Adele sound and, based on what your dad has said he likes, it may be worht it!
I don’t even care for Adele that much, but I love this song. It just has something different.
She is so incredibly relatable and self aware and fucking funny ..listen to the albums.. crazy to give a whole review without knowing the songs.

Hometown is her best song!
Guys, you need to hear her first two albums from the start to the end. You will become fans, trust me.
Definitely deserving of more reactions
Adele- Love in the dark is another tear jerker😭
This is one of my favorite Adele songs of all time.
A million years ago from Adele is a great song, a bit less known but the lyrics are relatable and the voice insane as always
I think Caroline Polacheks ”Desire, I Want To Turn Into You” is something you guys would really enjoy!! Especially ”Welcome to my island” and ”Pretty in possible” and ”I believe”
He totally had that Whitney comment prepared, haha! Love the honesty guys. Adele is awesome though.

Adele is GOAT for me as a female singer
Apparently 'Hometown Glory' was what she called a 'breakthrough' in her songwriting. It's about London, and was inspired when she came back from a protest against the war in Iraq (hence the political lyrics in parts). Truly amazing song.
This song kills me. I love it
Great talk after the song. I share many thoughts as you two regarding this artist.
She was 16 when she wrote this song!! 🎶
React with him to Take it All From the 21 album I’m sure he will love it!

MORE ADELE PLS !!
I LOVE THIS SONG
Hmm Adele is a power house, and usually build up the momentum in her songs which a lot of us can appreciate. Some slower and softer songs of hers that still have a very powerful impact for me are:
My Little Love
Lovesong
Woman Like Me
Hope you enjoy :)
You guys should react to “my little love” by Adele, it hits deep and is also more relaxed if that’s what you like
I don’t really do Adele, but I did buy her first album. My favorite song is Skyfall, but then I don’t know many of her songs.
I know i mentioned Billie Eillish having a James Bond theme song "No Time To Die", Adele might have one of the biggest James Bond theme songs with "Skyfall" both should be checked out.
True
@The FrontRoom The very first song that I ever heard by Adele was Chasing Pavements and Hometown Glory, two of my favorite songs. Songs that I would recommend listening to by Adele would be...
1). Chasing Pavements
2). Turning Tables
3). Make You Feel My Love, which would definitely tug on your dad's heartstrings for sure, trust me.
4). One And Only
Just to name a few for next time. Also, for you and your dad's next video, can y'all listen to Ed Sheerans albums, please? I have a really great recommendation for a cover song Mashup of one of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith songs as well if you guys are interested!
Rolling in the deep, Chasing Pavements, Turning Tables
I think her voice comes from her dad who is Welsh
Wales is called. The land of song
Adele's vmusic only gets better as you move ahead
She was 16 when she wrote this song!16!🤯
React to the entire 21 album, it's a great treat and one of the best selling albums for a reason
Her newest album 30 is much less dramatic in terms of her voice, so maybe that one would suit your ears better. Highly recommend!
Take It All or All I Ask are my top 2 recommendations and I would let him react to the her singing either or both live. ❤
You should have him react to Billie eilish “when we fall asleep where do we go” album
I drink wine and to be loved ❤❤
I feel songs from her last album was more subtle. I think you all may enjoy My Little Love. It’s more quiet and emotional ❤
