    bought a ranger 1000 premium, use it mainly for work. putting in & taking out trail markers. it's all i need great unit

    One thing I would love to see is information on aftermarket modifications for the engines if available. ie - adding some aftermarket performance boosts.

    You helped me make a decision on which one to go with. Great info that can be difficult to find elsewhere. Well presented and makes excellent use of YT. How about adding the Sportsman? Keep it up!!!

    You should show the differences between the standard and highlifter gearcases. You could also show how turf mode works.

    Can one do a head swap...put a dual cam head over the same block as a single cam?

    I wish someone would mention that the regular SOHC 1000 is geared 13% higher. Which explains why the XP is able to turn 29-in tires and the SOHC comes with 25-in tires. Not one of three dealers had a clue about this until I dug into it.....

    Anyone have a link for setting the valve timing for the single over head cam? Cant find it anywhere
