Also, claymores wouldn't do that to a building--especially when you plant them outside. And then there's all the dudes just spraying their bullets everywhere but AT Arnold Schwarzenegger 😅
I also don't recall any operator-activated claymores having an antenna lol. I've watched them detonate several times, and there's never been an antenna, but it was a decade ago admittedly. I suppose it probably helps with the immersion for the average civi.

I turned my teenaged so onto this movie last night. He read the description about how it was full of one liners(all great), Arnold taking out scores of the bad guys etc. We were howling laughing beginning with the plane exit. What a soft landing. Another sweet kill that we rewound a few times in an attempt to capture exactly what happened was the incredible skill saw blade/throwing star. I don't know if the miscreant actually died(he probably did from sepsis a couple of days later)but he was thoroughly scalped. He was out of the fight for sure. Arnold's hip shooting was fantastic.

      Fancy meeting you here, Professional!
That said, it wouldn't be surprising if Cayo Perico was inspired by Commando, especially with the gung-ho one man army aesthetic shared between the two.

It makes sense. The history of Tommy Vercetti from GTA Vice City was inspired by the history of Tony Montana from Scarface. Even the entire city is based on 80's Miami.

2023. How amazing and extraordinary this film is, because it is several decades ahead of the year 80. Even now, if you look at it, how was it possible in the year 80 to make a film as good as this?

See this again in 2022 as a 26-year-old. It's kinda of funny and miss that 2000 era
