It's a classic! I heard it for the first time on Rádio Antena 1 FM, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1983 and I loved this medley. Congratulations to DJs Tuta Aquino and Julinho Mazzei (The Kids from Brazil) for this excellent performance.
Thanx DJ m0j0 for posting! This was produced, mixed and edited by myself, Tuta Aquino and my "brother" Julio Mazzei (hence J&T Records), both Brazilian DJs and producers that lived in NYC in 70's and 80's and 90's. We formed the duo "The Kids From Brazil" that in the early 80's did a lot of mixes for "Paco's Super Mix" a mixed series that aired daily on NYC's WKTU FM. This was a bootleg that we produced and sold to a few of the NYC specialized DJ vinyl shops. There's a Vol. 2 that was produced a year later. Both big hits and very sought after back then and still today... Very proud and thankful that is kept alive by so many people! Peace!

For years I thought Tuta and Julio made this mix. BUT on Paco's Supermix, Paco gives the credit to Stuart Best. I asked Tuta about this on my channel and he did not answer. I no longer believe him. Albert Cabrera wrote telling me the Rascals and J & T DID do Vol.2 "Genius At Work" together. But said they had no role in Vol. 1. The style is definitely Stuart Best when you hear his other medley's. Also note this record is B&W not J&T. You can hear Stuart Best on "92KTU New York" channel.

So it confirmed that this was copied from 92 Wktu? I can definitely say that for big apple ii I’ve heard longer elements of it on pacos supermixes and that was a cut down of those parts.
Does anyone know what the part 2 od this increadible mix is called?? It starts with a rooster screaming.. but i cant find the mix. So if anyone knows.. pls let me know
@@djm0j0 well no.. cuz I had iton A tape way back in the days. And its a rooster at the beginning and none of the tunes in the one u wrote , there should b no Curtis blow and so on. Maybe in this mix , but not from the one frim the 80's. But thanx , its like a timewarp back to the 80's
