@rafeikasratali213 Awesome!! My college age kids look at me weird sometimes when I'm blasting 80s music in my car ..and they have no idea who sing these "oldies"
I'm 51. I was one of the top break dancers on Staten Island in the 80s. Linoleum and Armour All is how we rolled. These guys absolutely put me to shame I must admit. Their moves are extraordinary and works of a professional gymnast. Planet Rock was the #1 break dance jam hands down. Wish I could re-live those days again with my childhood and teenage friends. Kids now will never experience the connections we all had with each other. Glad I lived to experience those times.
No bro they dont put you to shame because if it was not for you they would not be doing what they do. There moves come from you and the other brothers out of New York. You are the originator you did not use gymnastics or anything else it was raw talent and creativity!! You all took something from nothing and look where it is now!!
Someone/somehow have to set the philosophie alive ^,~ And that was the start of this work as we know it today. Evolution have a start, but no ending!! I only would be ashamed if these guys today didnt manage to bring evolution to it. then It would be dead already! :D

You brought me back to my youth! I'm 48 years old and man I feel like breakdancing again and other dances in between. But you didn't have to end it with art of noise! This is what we need in music today bring back the classics and show these young people this is What and where hip-hop come from. Educate the culture and they will follow!
I remember when I was a kid growing up listening to old school music this on my radio. Plus I when I was a teenager I would enter a break dance battle in school. I love listening to old school music like this. Theses D.J.'s know how to put great music together back in the 80's. I rather listen to this music instead of other music.
Just turned 51 and I grew up with this music on 92 WKTU New York. Where has the time gone? I try this now and I'll throw out a hip or break my neck. Hahaha Excellent video and mix.
Loved it, i remember vividly when i first busted my mills and kept it flyin... I had to check with someone else if it really was the windmill, because it didnt feel like it looked from just seeing it be done... Love the days...
it feels so wierd to know i used to get cardboard boxes to break when i was a teen at 49 yrs old now lmao...these guys are insane!..you have to be in top shape to do this stuff

I am 52 I wish I could do half of the things that I used to do back then because now that I have two strokes I can't even move half of my body I miss these days but I thank God that I was part of this generation
I was pretty good at breakdancing in the mid 80s, could jump straight into a flying windmill without using my head and go straight into over 40 headspins and bounce around on one hand, but these guys are in a whole different league to me. I'm 53 now, it's probably too late to learn those moves haha 🙂 Seriously though, how the heck do they do those moves? Their strength must be phenomenal! Oh, and the music is awesome too! Just wow!
So glad this younger Generation is still keeping this live and continually updating it.. it definitely was an amazing time in my life, so grateful I experience some extraordinary break dancers - Shout out To City Street Breakers off a 103rd st. Jacksonville, Florida and the Dancing group Kurrent Electricity- (Rip Crystal Richmond aka Radius C”, - Joe Braddaus bka: Atomic,
The energy in these video is palpable. It gives me chills and the memories I have of this music damn near brings a tear to my eyes. Break dancers were my hero’s growing up. One of my best friends in middle school could do moves like this and I thought he was a god
In the 80s, this was the absolute essence of who I was. These dudes here would SMOKE me in a battle, and you too, and everyone you knew back then. 😂 And if you see an ASIAN enter a breakin' battle, it's over!! LOL I'm 50 now, and proud to say that I'll be a B-Boy in my heart and soul until the day I die!!! 💓
Anyone of these dudes would have smoked all the best crews in NYC,a one man crew. But there had to first be a blueprint and we Bboys of the 80’s provided that.without this blueprint it couldn’t have reached these levels!Keep on rocking 80’s B boys!

I still can breakdance a bit at 53 and I NEVER used drugs or popped pills, smoked, drank. Glad and blessed and I can still do it. I started in the 80's though when it was just taking off! I was a teen and young adult back then.
Come to my city and State in Michigan and WATCH ME! I dance every day and play basketball daily to stay in shape, agile, tough. I still feel very YOUNG inside and my energy proves it!

I'm going back to the 80's when they invent a time machine. This brings back memories. I was one of the top breakers in the valley. I was the gyro king. These are some epic dancers
Crazy no moves or the music is better you are crazy what today compares to this in dancing... Just like people say labron is better than Micheal I seen both sides, not even close 80's and Micheal no doubt not even close
Amazing. This takes determination, dedication, perfection, training, coordination,. Plan for the future. Always remember to relate to the generations. There are many ways to construction. Who will tomorrow's generation be watching?

Coming from Southwest Louisiana at 46 years old…when we weren’t wrestling alligators or boiling our mud bugs…we were definitely jamming and trying our best to dance to this. Although there were a few that could hang…most of us were just putting the jams in our trucks to listen to the music! Great times! Glad I saw this post!
I give credit where its due! These cats are serious wit it. But I'm 55 and still today I can do some shut that none of them can do!!! I'm a former gymnist from Chicagos Altgeld Gardens. BEAST!!!

Brilliantly stated words right there. LUH-OVE it So happy to see other epics exist - on the BEAT evertime it does not, will not ever get old YEP YEP! 🎶
I am 54, grew up in Queens NYC. I remember the Dynamic Rockers from Queens Bridge that went to school with and other crews. I worked Roller Park on Queens Blvd / Lamour's East / Dancin .
Sheer brilliance - I guess that every generation thinks that they had the best moves; personally I've lived through 50 years of Northern Soul and everything that goes with it (good and bad!) and trust me, we could rip up any dancefloor - but I have to say that this genre bred the best ever dancers, you just gotta look at them - incomparable!!! Our sounds were and remain far better though guys!!! Thanks for sharing, brilliant clip !
My mind was already back home on the corner with the crew chilling with the boy box and backpack full of batteries on ready to keep the deck spinning maannnnn these were the days
You simply can’t beat the 80’s era for that raw new sound in music...especially when it came to that electro street sound and even though I totally love and respect the backdrop clips of new era of B-boy/girl I feel it would’ve been more effective to use old classic clips of breakdance to go with the old sound tracks...the passion I have for the movement that was breakdance runs deep and I know I’m not alone in this 👊🏾🤘🏾
I tried break dancing in the clubs in college (early '80s), but I was nowhere on the level of those in your video. To this day I still listen to some of the cool songs such as "Planet Rock" (Afrika Bambaataa & Soul Sonic Force), "Jam On It" (Nucleus), "Play At Your Own Risk (Planet Patrol), "Last Night a D.J. Saved My Life" (Indeep), Show Me (Cover Girls" etc...
I tell my son everyday. They won't let us get old, keep remixing our beats and bringing back the nostalgia. The dance battle was the way to handle disputes..guns not necessary. Pick up your pride and go on with your life.now social media keeps the unnecessary drama alive. Yes, I would be depressed too..can't get a "break" no pun intended.
@Radley2612 CLEARLY things are not the same now like it was then. I addressed that in my original comment. That doesn't change how I feel about hearing old school music again.

I remember when I was a kid growing up listening to old school music this on my radio. Plus I when I was a teenager I would enter a break dance battle in school. I love listening to old school music like this. Theses D.J.'s know how to put great music together back in the 80's. I rather listen to this music instead of other music.
Im 49 and i still go crazy when i hear oldschool music.
Just turned 51 and I grew up with this music on 92 WKTU New York. Where has the time gone? I try this now and I'll throw out a hip or break my neck. Hahaha Excellent video and mix.

I feel you man. I'm 52 but the one thing that we have is that this young men nowadays don't know how to have clean fun like we did.

You simply can’t beat the 80’s era for that raw new sound in music...especially when it came to that electro street sound and even though I totally love and respect the backdrop clips of new era of B-boy/girl I feel it would’ve been more effective to use old classic clips of breakdance to go with the old sound tracks...the passion I have for the movement that was breakdance runs deep and I know I’m not alone in this 👊🏾🤘🏾
I completely agree with you. I thought it and you said it for us! Kudos.
Best breakdancing ever...and that REMIX ...WOW!
I miss this but I knew back then like this ERA there won't ever be another like it! It was an honor to be part of it I had BIG FUN!!!@!🤩🥇♥️♥️♥️💋👠💥🗯💃🕺✌

I was thinking the same thing. Like I couldnt even IMAGINE these moves, let alone, do them..
@Radley2612 CLEARLY things are not the same now like it was then. I addressed that in my original comment. That doesn't change how I feel about hearing old school music again.
