As I watched this, I was thinking about F. Remington’s nocturnes. Surprise! You ended this video with a nod to him and the book, “The Color of Night.” That book was produced by Gilcrease Museum when they did an entire exhibit by the same title. Many of the paintings came from their collection. I take great joy from being a docent at the museum and talking specifically about these paintings. The museum rotates his paintings and we look forward to the museum reopening in a brand new building in approximately 18 months. Come to Tulsa sometime and I’ll give you a tour of these and more. They have thousands of watercolors including hundreds by Thomas Moran. Thanks. I need to take your TAA course.
