This fifth symphony of Mendelssohn has an amazing lyricism in some movements, which distinguishes it from some of the others composed by him. The Andante, although with grandeur, is more restrained. It is mainly in the second movement that all grace and niceness of the symphony is concentrated. The rest of the movements, although sometimes exuberant, are more restrained. The orchestra’s direction and interpretation are amazing. The music is sublime and transports us to other worlds. I am grateful for the magnificent recording that is offered to us to hear.

Isn't Mov.4 starts at 21:30 rather than 22:07?
バイオリン奏者全員が起立したまま演奏している姿に一瞬驚きましたが、宗教改革というこの曲に対する指揮者とオーケストラの姿勢に拍手を送りたいと思います。
