I have 3 pairs of these in black that I rotate for work, 6 days a week. They are comfy enough wearing 8+ hours a day standing or walking. Easy to slip in and out of with the side zippers. Sturdy little boots for it's price range. I do a lot of walking and get a fresh trio every 8-9 months since they are quite affordable.
do you think this will work for construction? like do they have protection? steal toe?
Bought desert storm military boots from two different USA manufacturers and found them rather hard on my feet so I gave one pair away and lucky to sell the other pair. I was wondering why produce boots for the military that are not comfortable,it's hellish enough being a grunt, no disrespect implied. Bought Magnum boots a few years ago as well and used those at work since they came with composite toe protection, yet they tired me out walking on concrete for 8 hrs. I still have them as back ups. Thought I would buy cheaper boots last year thinking why buy pricy boots so I took a chance on the nortiv sand color as the video presenter displayed and I was blown away of the quality, duribility , and my feet comfort is 50% better than expensive boots, it doesn't make sense...it goes against my general theory: better materials cost more, better craftsmanship labor cost more so the product must be good. Not in my cases, take a chance on these norvit boots, I'm going to buy the black nortiv 8 with toe protection soon online with the side zip. That's my take in them and it was a well produced video, really enjoyed it. That's it from me and have a happy father's day tomorrow ya'all 2021!!
I started wearing the side-zip jump boot style decades ago, and it's the only way to go. Less wear and tear on the laces and eyelets makes them last a LOT longer.
If you have a good place to resole them at a good price, they can last forever - with proper maintenance. Even for cheaper brands.
Thanks for the video I ordered two from your site in the past I had rhino boots they were great but I love and support your channel
Just bought a pair of 5-11 boots that look almost exactly like those. I paid 3 times as much but worth every penny. I'll have to look at these boots. Thanks.
Thanks for the review… helped me make the decision to dump my Canadian issue hot weather combat boots and pick up these boots.
Edit! ✍️ be had mine for a month and a half… and the best boots I’ve purchased in a long time. Affordable, well made and very comfortable.
I still have them and they are still great, thanks for watching
Just bought a pair of these in black for work, first day with them on will be tomorrow.
How are they holding up?
Awesome set of boots man. Ill be looking into them
Last month i purchased brown army boots for my preps, stored away for when needed, will get more pairs.
Yeah make sure you wear them for a week before putting them away, they do need time to break in, then you can clean them up and put them away, last time you want foot issues with new boots is during the SHTF
I used to be in British Army, bad blisters for months, I've worn them in for a week around the house, ready to go. Thank you, love your vids. Filling boxes here.
Thanks dude! Just needed that little bit of reassurance
Yup I still have them and use them about once a week and they are still good
they look like a good boot to wear, thanks for the heads up
I liked them up until they started clicking after a soaking. Might have been fault of the gel insole I bought for them (past experience with the brand was the insoles suck) but they took a day in the sun to dry fully and still clicked afterwards. I would say good value if you properly waterproof it or aren't going to get it wet. A little bit of a shame since you rarely see boots like this in grey and I liked everything else about them. Mileage may very.
if you cant find that exact model of boot, ive found the ....NORTIV 8 Men's Military Tactical Work Boots Side Zipper Leather Motorcycle Combat Boots with the zipper and stiched in sole to the leather upper. thanks for your video, make an amazon affil link so we can pay you brother!
If these boots breathe better than my 5-11s (summertime turns them into a portable foot oven), then I want a pair. I'm tired of pulling mine off at the end of the day, and gasping a sigh of relief. Boots should not have to be torture.
just got mine in great 511 replacement
I got a pair of swede grey real cheap on ebay, and the arch of the bottom sole is literally hollow. That's not going to protect from thorns or nails or keep you comfortable on a ladder. On the plus side they have a shoe like fit, and hold my heel secure so it doesn't rub like it does in most "real" boots.
Only book ive found recently is the Belleville Marine Corps boot. It's lasted almost a year
I got them and I love them
I would like to find a summer weight boot, now .y only boots are my winter hiking boots
Brought one, very light, good rubber sole
Already had these almost a year if not so there pretty good
are they comfortable?
@@itsjona23 yes
@@itsjona23 Before I wore walmart boots they fucked my feet up
Can I use these for construction
I know you said true to size but Is the sizing more like work boots or shoes? Thanks.
How do those zippers hold up in water? Do they let water in?
They stay dry in the rain, they have not leaked on me
You are styling with those zippers!
Those are some really nice looking boots really like them by the way you mentioned your chainsaw after you use it awhile would you please give us update on it I really liked it I thought it would come in handy
Thanks, yeah I have been using the heck out of it to trim up stuff around my property so far I love it, have yet to kill off the first battery to recharge it but I will do an update vid or work an update on it into another video soon!
Should I keep steel toed or soft toed boots as part of my preps?
Yeah Steel toed booths certainly have their place, these would be a nice backup to them
