I thought the same.. But you can buy a manual boost controller to adjust boost while driving or get an electronic controller and do boost by gear(10 psi 1st gear-12 psi 2nd gear etc etc.)
How much did u end up spending? Looking to turbo soon. Also with 160k miles, should I refresh the engine?
Ended up spending like around 2kish.. I didnt buy everything new.. Used FB marketplace to save some money.. And just do a compression test and see how the numbers look
Stock trans?
Yepp been holding up perfect for 3+ years
@@FrancisD ok, I’m shooting for about 5, but I’m not sure I trust the trans lol. I’m running z3 trans since they got LSD but man, this my 3rd trans lol. I’ll go ahead and try it out. Thanks for the fast reply.
how much is this thing pushing?
Bout 300 on 7psi
What kit u got?

They don't die like really. I had a fg2 that had 2 owners with 24k on it amd 10 years old. I loved the thing. But Honda s can die esp the transmissions. I habe seen it plenty times. I had a 97 saturm sl2 or to of them. Put 80k on both redlining everyday and multiple times a day. I never blew either one and had barley any probs. They are the american Hondas. Even would beat ek si and jeard many others to doing it. But theres cars like those cars. Really cheap to wotk on and reliable. But to say they can't die is preposterous.
Oh yea the transmissions are definitely the weak point .. I still haven't seen any problems there yet tho😅

I’m new to the Honda world I have a 2007 Honda Civic 5 speed automatic can I turbo that thing?
I'd recommend getting a manual 5 spd at least or a Si if you want to go turbo.. But si is the way if you don't want to blow up the motor after a baby pull
@@FrancisD ok bro but is it possible to do ? I mean I don’t want to go all crazy just somthing slight you know
Possible? Absolutely!
