😄 Yesterday after spending all evening shopping for a new sofa, Tim was literally signing the order for the one we had chosen when Colin disappeared because he'd found another sofa that he liked 🛋️🛋️🛋️
Only ever been to two prides but i like how inclusive they are of all ages and espeically of people who are different and transgender people - so much irrational anti transgender stuff online the last few years isn't there. I've noticed more gay and lesbian people being prejudiced to trans pepple too i think a lot who have these views dont have any trans friends or family though - in my limited experience of knowing or meeting trans people they just want to live their lives like everyone else dont they not to get special treatement or have extra rights just to get on with life and be treated equally. So yes, i know some people say why do we need pride now in the UK - why isnt there a straight pride (bit of a silly comment lol) but i think whilst gay and lesbian people are hopefully mostly accepted (i know its still hard for many people but talking on the whole) there is a long way to go before transgender people are accepted I think. Anyway bit off topic lol but basically thumbs up to pride events lol may attend some next year 🌞

In our experience, though, we find that gays and lesbians are more accepting of the trans community than people generally. We think the hate was stirred up by the former government to distract us from their incompetence and corruption. Anyway, we'll get off out soapbox now 😁 Thank you for your comment xxx 🌈🌞🩷
