“Walk through the aye door but also go to church” as a conclusion of the last available floor speech, speaking for abstention while advocating not abstaining, is just stupidity and a waste really

There is always more community in a town or village and when you overpopulate an area with different cultures, religions, ethics and morals, do you seriously expect that community to suddenly act together for the same causes under similar values? I think not. But hey, that's multiculturalism.
It's great seeing Emily Thornberry, until you remember she lambasted and scorned a white van driver for having an England flag flying outside his house in England....what a nice woman. And there's nothing wrong with a national sovereign Britain either. Less layers of politicians and political globalism was always better than how much something costs or your precious foreign second home when the majority of us working people wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. We voted against you and we won. Stay bitter if you so wish.
And as for the Labour side being committed to "democracy". Please! Brexit showed your real intentions for democracy. It's only democracy when it suits you. Representative Democracy is a sham. The people deserve more representative decisions and direct voting. This is Liquid Democracy. And we won't be truly democratic until we have a movement which gives power and vital final decisions from the Westminster career politicians to the people. Until then we live in a failed democracy where the highest vote in local and general elections always goes to the non-voters because they all know that they aren't represented in this Representative Democracy illusion usually led by an MP from a establishment of political parties that they don't even like.

A Torai voting ‘Aye’ for Conservatism? Possible fault for choice of speaker? Or the audience? Non too bright?

I may have identified the reason why this motion crashed and burned: the proposition invited Conservatives to argue for the so-called merits of Conservatism.

Guys guys. Let me save you the effort. Conservatism is not the answer. Never has been, never will be. Now lets get dressed up and go out for some Tacos? What do you say?

The word community got mentioned a lot in the debate. It’s not surprising to me that it was from two communities which might as well be worlds apart. I don’t believe conservatives are evil or bad people. To the contrary I believe the majority are good decent people. But your community is destroying mine not because you’re evil but because I don’t believe you see us. We live in two separate worlds but yours has an incredible power over mine.
I’m from the same area as the two women specking at this debate which made their communities heard and might I add very proud of them. To them I thank you.
