Hey, great video!! covering lots of amazing stuff :) I wanted to know if there are different boat trips and if they are different start locations and routes to choose from?
Thank you so much for your comment, I am glad you liked my video. All boat trips start from the same place as I noticed. Some might start the trip backwards to avoid crowds, you can ask for the details while signing up for the trip, some boats have loud music and party style with soup foam and things like that, some are more on the calm side. But yes all start from the same place, they are mainly 5 or 6 different main boats for the actual tours, so when you sign up for the trip, it depends on with which boat this booth is contracted with, according to your request they will forward you to a specific tour, I saw a boat that had pirates of the Caribbean theme, which is the most famous, you can ask to go on that for example, I just recommend you check with several booths before signing up with any, also haggle. As for the route, it differs, but mainly, most boats visit the same spots, and all have to follow the same schedule where all tours end at 5 p.m, let us say you signed up for the 12 islands tour instead of the 6 isalnds, although you will go to 12 different spots instead of 6, it will just mean you will spend less time at each stop. I am thinking of taking a private boat tour for next summer or a smaller group tour. It can be a bit more expensive , but it will be calmer, at least. Hope that helped. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Hey, Very nice and interesting video with all information I was looking for. Travelling to Fethiye in coming week. Do you suggest to stay near oludeniz? or not. also I don't know swimming much, do they give/have life jacket for swimming while on boat tour? this boat tour, do they have boat tour covering few places only instead of six different location? and what do you recommend ?
Hello. Thank you so much for your comment and kind words. It depends on your preference. Oludeniz is a part of fethiye that is 20 minutes away and can be reached by shuttles throughout the day. It is fairly small compared to fethiye though. For boat tours they do offer life jackets for who wants to use them, and there are different tours available. The 6 islands one, the 12 islands and one more that I cannot remember. You can ask around the boothes there and choose the one that suits you. Have a nice trip 🍍💌
Thank you, I am glad you liked it. It was an office in the city center that I don't remember unfortunately. But I recommend you ask several places to find deals.
We went there in September last year.. it was super nice, warm and less crowded. I believe October would be similar.. it might be a tad cooler but still swimmable.. 😅 Have fun 💙💙💌
Hello, it differs greatly to be honest, based on location, time of year, and season. I recommend you check out vacation planning websites 4 months in advance. You can also call the hotel you are interested in to get a better offer. I hope that helps. Have fun on your upcoming vacation 😇
Yes sure, you can rent out a private boat or a taxi boat to drop you off and pick you up at your preferred times, I am not sure how much that would cost but you can always haggle.
Fethiye is very nice in September, iy highly dependable on your interests, if you want to mostly swim you can sign up for boat tours, and visit couple of nice beaches, especially the blue lagoon in oludeniz, if you want to visit old cities and ancient places, you can go to Saklikent or tlos ruins. There are plenty of things to do. Hope you have an enjoyable vacation 💌🍀💫⭐️
Fethiye Merkez is fine, any hotels on the road leading to oludeniz is also nice, don't worry about transportation minibuses are common and they go almsot everywhere. Hope that helped 💌
I recommend hotel Bahar on Calis beach. Bus stop is 10 m from hotel, so yoz can go to the city very easy and cheap. And take a visit to Oludeniz and Babadag paragliding mountain. That is so amazing.
Hi need to ask from where can I take mini bus? If i stay at The same Hotel where you were staying? And is it necessary to stay at the city centre? Or 3km from city centre is fine?
Actually the whole city is pretty central, and you can find a passing minibus in all streets. The main start points for minibuses as far as I know are infront of the otogar (coach station) and in the city center (sehir merkezi) as they call it. Any hotel around there is considered super close. Hope that helps! 🌃🫐🍋🟩
Please assist. We arrive at IST at midday ... is it advisable to take a flight to Fetiye ? We have that afternoon, which is monday until Friday evening. We are hoping to hire a car and travel to kas and bodrum. Do you think we can manage to see 3 towns in so short a time.. including the entire day in oludeniz?
Hello, thank you for your comment, usually the day you travel in is limited in terms of what you can do, even if you have an early flight, on boarding, off boarding , buggage claim, and transportation to the cities takes more time than what you expect. Bodrum is 4 hours away from oludeniz and Kas I would recommend you to choose where you want to go first, if it is bodrum please land in Milas airport and start your trip from there, if you want to see oludeniz and kas first please land in dalaman airport. This will save you some time in terms of traveling between cities. You can give one whole day to each city. Now that Eid is over it is less crowded I was just there 2 days ago. I am preparing a new video to post within this week for the updated trip. Please let me know if you have any further questions 💖🤗🏙

Hi.. we are planning to travel this month? We are thinking of taking a rent a car reaching dalman airport.. is it a good option to rent a car? How will be able to go to babadag can we go by our car or should be picked up by tour operator? Should we stay at fethiye or oludeniz? We are planing for boat tour and paragliding.. hope you can help.. and where to book these two activities?
Hello, Thank you for your comment. I love that you chose Fethiye for your vacation, you will love it there. Of course you can rent a car to facilitate your transportation around the city, or if you have children. However, I believe that the muncipility and public transportation in Fethiye is pretty well established. For example you can go to Fethiye from Dalaman Airport via airport shuttle that leaves each hour from infront the arrivals gate, It is 150 TL per person, it takes you to the Coach station of Fethiye "Otogar". which is in the city center, and infront of the otogar you can take oludeniz minibuses, that departs every 8 minutes, it takes you to Babadag and to Oludeniz. There are also different minibuses or shuttles that basically take you to most places around Fethiye. You can tell the driver the name of your destination and they will understand and tell you when to get off. or guide you to the correct bus. I believe you mean cable car when you said Babadag, you can say you want to go to "telfrik", it is the same minibus that goes to oludeniz. However if you prefer to have your own car and move around, that is also an option, but keep in mind that renting a car might be costly, Fuel, parking, traffic and rent. the roads to Oludeniz gets busy around 11 a.m to 1 p.m so make sure to leave early from Fethiye, maximum by 9 so you do not get stuck in the traffic. For boat tour and paragliding, there are tons of companies that offer these services, there are agenct everywhere, they have booths in Fethiye city center and in oludeniz's city city center, you can haggle to get good price and they prefer cash, make sure to know whuch boat tour is best suitable for you and you family, you might want the loud music one with dancing and foam parties, or the calm one that has stops at beautiful bays and beaches, ask for these details while signing up, usually those tours come with transportation. It is the same for Paragliding, make sure to ask several places untill u find the preferred price, but make sure that there are a couple of main companie sthat run this businesses, so although there are many boothes or offices to book these activities, many of them might be working for the same boat or company. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope this was helful. and I wish you a great trip!
