- ARK with Jorn Lande Live at progpower USA. November 2001.
This is a video i've made from all available videos. Glued together so that i could watch it easier :)
This band had the potential to become one of the greatest prog metal bands ever. Such a shame that they disbanded.
In fact they are on of the greatest prog metal bands ever ;-). No matter the number of records, only matters the quality :).
I agree
@@etrangemusic you right
1000% agreed!
burn the sun is one of the most amazing prog álbuns of all time, this is a fact
U r totally right!!!
True!
True. First self titled album might even be better.
Underrated :( A genious like Tore Østby deserved more. Conception and Ark, what an incredible legacy.
+Nefedis 77 amen
amén!!
Amen
Well we won't get more Ark, but now there is more Conception!
Burn the Sun is still my favorite album, that I hear almost every day, since it came out. Pure perfection, in every part of it. I would really like to see Ark live some day, with all the same guys. Ark rules!!! :) \m/
RIP Randy and Mats.
Tore basically revealed the two greatest norwegian singers ever
Pure gold, magical band
isso é muito maravilhoso que nem dá pra comentar... banda raiz de verdade, tocando de verdade, sem firula, apenas no feeling, perfeito demais.
Still alive.
That lineup , imo , simply DESTROYS the Dream Theater one. OMG , this is an eargasm .
Not to offend, but these guys poo on DT. Not that they are bad by any means. Even their own side projects are better imo
JORN LANDE IS A MONSTER
I wish I could see "Feed the Fire" live!
All of them Monsters
And of course the great Randy Coven RIP
Yeah it was. I only wish I had known who Jorn was at that time. I went for Symphony X only back when I was just getting into the prog/power genre. I loved their set, but had noooooo idea who they were.
They had their own sound. No difference to deep purple or led zepplin..absolutely brilliant musicians
They were so good that night. Definitely one of my favorite sets from all of the PPUSA's I've been too.
Man, what an awesome concert that would have been to witness!!
*.*
This band was genial. Their album "Burn The Sun" is phenomenal.Tore Østby is genial guitar player.
His skill in choosing a shirt to match the style of his pants is the opposite of his skill in singing
since then and until now
Jorn! Best voice ever! 🤘
Jorn is a GOD
It is so sad that this band made only 2 records, so sad...
I really hope so!
They were one of the main reasons I went. Them and Spiral Architect. And Nightingale. And Superior. And Evergrey (back in the day, when I loved them). And Symphony X, back when they never toured the US. It was and is an amazing festival!
Wow! You saw Spiral Architect! Sickest bass player ever! What was it like?! Please share! Hahahaha
Yet, no matter what, Ark, I think is better than Masterplan (from what I've heard of them).
It's Singers At The World's Dawn.
If it's without Jorn, it isn't Ark.
Absolutelly
SÓ HEROIS
VISHHH
Unfortunately the same reasons that caused their breakup have sunk any future Ark albums, according to Johnny Mac earlier this year. What a shame. His Union Radio album is the closest thing we'll get to a third Ark album.
What were those reasons?
@remaecs ARK was a great band. I actually saw that John Macaluso said there will be a new Ark album someday!
hell yes :)
Enormeus band
Personally, I preferred their first album.
Both albums are 10/10 but first is definitely more unique/ experimental
Kick ass band ...what's band members names ?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ark_(Norwegian_band)
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.
thank you very fucking mutch man!
Burn the sun é maravilhoso
What song at 7:04?
Singers At The World's Dawn
It’s shameful the reason this guys dont meet again. They are beein very egoist with fans and the art purpose. What they did is a maximum level of havy metal creation. Its something that will sent them to hell why they stopped. Bad karma
It's Singers At The World's Dawn.
