- Dive into a unique acoustic adventure we had with ARK in 2001, captured live by a fan in the enchanting ambiance of Elysée-Montmartre, Paris.
This unique showcase was only one of three acoustic performances we ever did, organized by Olivier Garnier as part of a promotional campaign for the album "Burn The Sun". This particular show took place at the Your Majesty Convention by Dream Theater’s French fanclub.

Alright Tore, big fan here... are we ever going to get a proper mix of the first album? Are those raw tracks sitting on ADAT somewhere?
Well, the recordings was demos, never supposed to be released, and we had to record it generation by generation to have enough tracks, as it was all done on an 8 track recorder. So first one track click, 7 tracks drums, bounced down to a stereo track. Next was stereo track drums with six tracks for guitars and bass, then another stereo track with drums, guitars and bass to add six tracks of keyboards, saxophone and other overdubs. Then the vocals was recorded in a 24 track studio some years later. Been going through some of my old tapes, but still not found these generations, but hoping that separation technology will better so it’s possible to remix that way ;)
