1 when you are able to be held accountable
2, When you are willing and able to create and enforce boundaries.
3 When your relationship with the Lord has moved beyond transactional and surface.
4 When your last relationship and past trauma are in the rear view mirror and not the front windshield
5 When you become aware of your filter and don’t allow them to make decisions for you.
6 When you receive the gift of empathy and nature it to health in your life
7 When you are cable of not viewing another person as a project or as a parent.

Again, I’m @ a loss for words in describing how impactful these therapy sessions have been to me & those I’ve shared w/. I always think the last one is the most powerful ; until I hear the next. Pastor Curry is just as much so; in a calming sense. They both compliment one other in their gifts. I’m thinking God for them!

First timer, from Durham NC. Didn't get child hood love. Dad married my mother and we all had different dads. I married so i wouldnt go from man to man had a 12yr old . Got married so thinking it would stabilize me to get married .and i wouldn't have children with different daddys. because my dad left when i was 3yrs old .i said if i get married i would stay married. The enemy came in and i was not prepared for the destruction. I Was Married 23 yrs to a Pastor . A dominated time . Divorced 15yrs . I have never been in love .to me love gives each other time to grow .we both were broken . I walk now bent over and really you see me walking look like I'm straighten up. God Almighty is lift me up and straighten me up . I dont think i want to be married again im 69 now . Broken . I love my children and grands and greatgrands . Prayers up for me . Thank you for Therapy Thursday and for the Ministry of Jerry Flowers and all the wisdom poured out in each one of these videos. I am filled and immensely blessed by how you do churchand realness and rawness, TRUTH, speaks directly to my spirit. Im watching from Richmond Indiana. I have been diagnosed with PTSD bc I dealt with my people that were supposed to love me mishandled. It led to them blaming me for their problems adult problems they talked negatively and blamed me and I can sense a fakeness bc I have been speaking 🗣️ GOD and sending sermons. Mmm I let mu family yo bc of their toxic ways that have undermined and left me hanging to figure life out and my mistakes of trying to figure what I have never seen, abuse after abuse and I went into those unhealthy relationships 💔 that broke me mentally physically emotionally sexually and I broke my back hooked on pain pills led to arguments in my mothers household I had a child and one of the arguments led to police getting called and I went to jail my son was taken with the help of my mom going to my aunt that visited me and I didnt want my son in the system and I made the decision they wanted me to make and I have not been able to forgive myself bc they didnt follow through and allow me after they adopted and I was 19 at the time. Ive dealt with anxiety my entire life from all the burdens put onto me from others that I carried and I went into drugs and I finally after years of trying and 😭 out to God to take it from me. I was doing drugs for over 20 years of my life and im 39 this month. My mom blamed me for her and never defended me and gave me a voice actually shut me up. Im married and thank God he is still here while Im going through a transformation and I dont have a church to go to. My family im the one thay pours and pours and its not reciprocated. Yesterday I stepped away bc the Lord needs me to be committed to my walk and they dont understand. I just went through my 6th miscarriage. And I have a lot of work that needs to be done to help me process and grow 🪴. I love my husband but Im struggling with where I am and dont have anyone to help me process and to rell me truth that is going to help me. Im self accountable but my husband holds me accountable about how kuch Ive allowed my family to take advantage and dump on me. I wont do it until im all the way healed. Im aware and need a people that are able to help me in this process and help me to let go and grieve stepping away from the toxicity of my family. I love them more than they love me bc its not reciprocated. They manipulate and im being aware of that behaviour that they cannot be held accountable when i approach them and tell them they dont care that im hurting. They never have. My mother made a big difference between her children causing problems amongst us and there she goes and when I say to her how she gurt me she tries to cry and say i guess im wtong its ALL my fault in a manipulative way. Im not standing for liars and manipulators anymore. If my love and what I offer is not reciprocated then ill dust my feet off move on and pray the right people the church people that will help me to grow and thrive.

Grieve and then leave
I have taken years to heal my trauma to become the best version of myself. I have so much peace in my singleness that I cherish. A relationship takes maturity and a lot of work plus sacrifice- I’m in no rush. Maybe one day or maybe not. I’m good where I’m at.

This is a much needed conversation,I’m learning how to love,I recently broke up with the person I was “inlove with” and now I’m realizing what we were doing doesn’t qualify to be called love and I’m being intentional with my healing because it still hurts

This is my first time here. I’m standing for my husband’s salvation and our marriage restoration. Even though man granted his divorce may 2023. I walk by faith not by sight. I will never stop until I see God do what only He can do. In Jesus mighty name I decree & declare it’s done Amen
Right here with you.. stand in the gap and wage war for them. God has the last day. That walk by faith and not by sight can be so hard. What I see now is certain death of mine and my husbands relationship… BUT GOD!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 He will do it. Often times it has to look so dead and so impossible so when it suddenly comes to pass, only God can receive the glory and we can surely know it is him. God bless you. I began writing this comment before the part in the video where he said to find someone in the comments and encourage them. I recently dreamt I commented back to someone on a RUclips video, encouraging them to continue standing for their husband. So when he said that, it was SO confirming and reminded me of that dream. Be blessed, hold fast to Gods word no matter what you see or hear. 💕

Good morning, I want to say this is my first time listening to one of your videos and I appreciate this topic so much! I thank God for healing, and I want to tell that person who heart has been broken/shattered and they can’t see healing or being whole again… Trust God to lead you and allow Him to move you through the “process” of healing and He will get you to a place of peace, a place of healed, and one day after establishing and maintaining an honest relationship with God, you will find yourself ready to love and be loved again!! Glory to God for all that He has lead me through during my “process”. 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️

First time watching! Love the idea and the news. Speaking of lenses i know i do have some trauma with submission to men and church leaders espically if i don't see christ in them. It's hard to see beautiful broken down women being less than what God has called them to be, because religion, cultural, or even their own mind says they are worth less.
I was struggling with 1 corinthians 14:34-35 this morning. Do you think that part or at least how it was written could have been related to Paul's lense and trauma?
I'll admit that i struggle with seeing the gifting of women not seen as valuable in church, espically single young women like me. The religious abuse I've experianced has been horrible and makes me less trusting of authority and spirtitual/religious things. It doesn't help that parts of the bible are used to inflict that abuse on women.

A lot of times are women will not allow the man to have authority over her because a lot of men have abused that Authority actually became control but the word is if and have that authority over her with love he will follow
