Repetitive confirmation is usually what makes me feel confident that it’s God and not me. Our flesh and feelings are flaky. God is constant and reliable.
but what if it’s conflicting answers that are repetitive? i am so confused on which voice is the right one even after watching the second part of this series

@@drekathigpen4869 ngl i watched the whole video and i still don’t get it. i’m glad you do though. i guess God talks like this: “if your grandpa died, your ex isn’t coming back”. my grandpa died the day after i watched that video so i guess God got His point across even though i still don’t understand the voices i’m hearing now.

I broke down in tears watching the sheep run to their Shepard. To trust in the Lord’s voice and guidance is something I strive for. I haven’t finished the Bible but I’m still learning and making time for the word because I want to so badly hear His voice and know him so well that I cannot mistake other voices for His.

56:50 1 Samuel 3:4-9 This message hit me with a revelation. All of my life wether in school, public, or even alone in my home I would hear my mother's voice call my name. I would go ask "did you call me" and the answer would be no. All of my life even to the other day before last. I could not even fathom that my Lord was calling out to me, despite the times I've prayed asking to hear his voice. This revelation hit me so deeply because he showed me throughout my 20 years of living each time he's spoken to me, I've been blind and deafened. Thank you Lord for opening my eyes!!

I come to these sermons when i need more. We need more pastors like Jerry Flowers Jr in this day. Pray over his life and family. The devil is moving daily but is under our feet
Get out of my head. Don’t get me wrong I love my pastor, he is down to earth, relatable, don’t make himself seem perfect, great in the community….but since listening to Jerry this last week…the way he speaks and gives the teaching really speaks to my soul. I understand more in a week than a year with my own pastor. This man has it in him

Spiritual immaturity is what keep Christians in the same level of not growing because of fear and doubt because the devil uses it as a weapon to discourage us and it takes us from hearing God's voice and remain baby Christians for a long time and it's frustrating and the courses us to stuck in wrong decision making 🙏.

I found myself saying wow God, thank you Lord, speak Holy Spirit so many times because it was nothing but truth after truth! Take accountability people...Oh and the part about listening to different pastors and attending different churches couldn't be more true. It does cause confusion. Which is why we need to read the Word for ourselves because when we have a relationship with God, we can hear a sermon from another anointed pastor and understand the message but we can also hear a sermon from a pastor who is just doing it for fame and money and you can discern this is NOT a word from God.
Always praying for more good Pastors like Jerry Flowers out there. 🙏❤️
That part about not teaching the people to hear God for themselves 😮. I've heard a pastor say, "his voice should be loud in us" and "Follow him as he follows Jesus." I was like, nope, Jesus voice is louder than anything in me, and I'm letting the Holy Spirit lead me.
For real . God's voice is the most important voice we listen to.
I needed to find this series, but coincidentally, it ties into why I need it. Full disclosure, I'm not sure how to feel about the last few minutes of this because I'm still meditating on 1 Timothy 2:11-12. I cant discern if the silence we are to demonstrate in church is referring specifically to teaching/preaching, or if it means not to speak at all, not even to share a testimony or pray. And I am almost positive it means the latter, cuz I feel like I can feel it in my spirit. I'm happy the Holy Spirit revealed this series to me.

I was listening to this yesterday and I’m currently in Exodus bc I’m starting to only REALLY read the Bible and all I could think about was Aaron when he was making a false idol and God was up there with Moses trying to make Aaron God’s Priest.
Lord, I pray that you cover his wife. Build a hedge of protection around her. Protect her from the darts of the devil as she covers her husband. Help her to continue to cover HER husband, the man YOU gave HER. In Jesus Mighty Name.... Amen!
