Best explanation I've seen for fitting one of these. I've been putting it off but I'm going to fit one now. Thanks.

I just had a 1100 round trip and I really missed something like this. For long drives it would be really good, having to keep an eye on the speed limit the whole way is really tiring. Thanks for sharing!

We did 800 yesterday to collect the old man's L200, just makes the trip so easy - plus Portuguese motorways are empty :)

Conrad anderson sell a similar kit but with a stalk that has 3 preset memories at double the price. I wasn't too sure about NCS-Systems, but after watching your video, I think I'll go for the same.

The kit will fit any car with a compatible ODB - plus you can just unplug it - old man me, could not see the point, but ..... works just like OEM, so me the sceptic, very impressed ! »»»»»»» as an aside, my main delight is the fuel saving, Nath keeps trying to snap my neck in sport mode, has to drop 2 gears past every wall or in every tunnel to hear it pop and bang, the cruise has calmed it all off -🤣 its like a limo now ( lets see for how long )

Great install video! Does it cancel when you kick the clutch too? We're moving to a rural area outside of Ourique in July. I'd love to get a Panda Cross, but the lack of cruise control was ruling it out.. it's back in the mix now, thanks!

Unfortunately I can’t answer that as my car is an automatic.
I’m sure on the website they will specify. Maybe send them an email if it’s not on the website.
It’s the best modification I’ve done to my car since I drive 6+ hours on the motorway every weekend.
      Thanks for the comment 👍

Just fitted this to my Nissan Note, and it was a bit of a nightmare. I couldn't have it plugged into the OBD port as the E11 is not compatible with the kit via the OBD port. I wired it all up, and it didn't work, I ran a diagnostic, and it wasn't picking up the VSS signal. Very long story short, I had to connect a 1k resistor to ignition live and VSS wire to clean up the speed signal. I also had to add a clutch switch, which meant taking the clutch pedal in and out a couple of times, make a small Y splitter cable connector for the brake switch instead of splicing into the cables, and take the stereo out to get to the VSS wire.
But what is strange is that yours is connected to the OBD, and mine can not work through the OBD, but yet they wanted me to get the ignition live from the OBD and the earth is wired into the pedal harness. So basically, yours could have been just simple plug and play. They could have run the ignition live and earth through the OBD plug.

That sounds a nightmare - ours was straight forward ish, but compared to you a doddle - impressed you achieved it. 👏🏼

Hi Nathan, good video and on the basis of video I purchased the CC kit for my wife's Abarth however my ODB plug is stopping me putting the small trim covering the plug back into place because the plug is now protruding much more than the original empty socket.
    Am stuck at the moment
    Any ideas please?
    Thanks
    Rgds

      Thanks for the comment!
Is your ODB plug with the kit the same as in the video? Mine has lots of space.
All I can think is that the ODB isn’t pushed on all the way? But that’s clutching at straws.
      What age is your Abarth?
I hope you can get this issue sorted. 👍

      Hi,
The ODB connection was an option when purchasing the cruise control kit. I believe if you call or send an email to NCS they will sell you one. I cannot find it on their website so i think its best to contact them.
