Your razing is something I had never seen before in all my years of martial arts. Again, revolutionary. Thank you for opening the eyes of so many.

The upper cut and palm strike reminds me of shing yi strikes. Most interesting

I had bad acid reflux for awhile and sometimes when laying down it would rise up and I'd have esophagus spasms and it's just horrible. Just like a movie you start trying to suck air in through what feels like a straw . No way you are fighting back during that, you panic and just want to breath again so you try harder and make it worse . Along with the web strike I like to practice a knife hand but while facing the dummy . I have long arms and can get the angle easy in a thrusting movement . Really there's no place on the neck that isn't a high value target . Having a BOB makes it soooo much better for practicing .

Great to hear from you, Brad. You're on the right track with your focus on training, but I want to clarify a key point about targeting the neck. In reality-based self-defense, the throat is the primary target due to its vulnerability, and the back of the neck (cervical vertebrae) is also viable in certain conditions. The rest of the neck is largely protected by muscle and fat, so unless you’re applying a blood restriction choke (RNC) that focuses on the carotid arteries, strikes elsewhere won’t be as effective. That said, always make sure your actions are legally and morally justified before using such force.

Reality based fighting is not pretty! But if it keeps you or someone close to you alive then so be it.

Exactly! Reality-based fighting is about survival, not looking pretty. It’s messy, chaotic, and designed to end the threat as quickly as possible. When it comes to protecting yourself or someone you care about, effectiveness is all that matters. Thank you for watching and welcome to our community. 👍

So I have some questions. What exactly sets your system and techniques and books apart from what most everyone in every self defense system and martial art already know? 1. Strike your attacker first. This is known across every system. Even the traditional karate guys I know and MMA guys know this principle and have known it for decades. 2. Strike vital targets. Again, every self defense person knows this, palm heels, knife hands to the throat, upper cuts in the jaw and temple, knees to the groin, kicks to the shin, etc...Again, even the traditional guys know this point and have known it for years. 3. Hitting the heavy bag and focus pads, and using the BOB. Again, every self defense system, MMA school, even traditional martial art schools now have heavy bags and the spar pro dummy. What exactly in your books is so revolutionary and new?

Your comment is the perfect example of someone who thinks they know something but, in reality, knows absolutely nothing. You’ve rattled off the same tired clichés that every armchair 'expert' clings to when they don’t actually understand a single thing about real combat. You list techniques like you’re reading from a manual, without the slightest clue of how those things play out when the stakes are life and death. But let’s be honest-you didn’t come here to learn anything. You came here to stroke your ego, drop some buzzwords, and hope to corner me into justifying myself and my life's work. Newsflash: you’ll never get that privilege.
You see, questions like yours aren’t asked by people who actually care about learning or growth. They come from people like you, who desperately want to sound intelligent but fail to hide their insecurities behind all the condescending nonsense. People who are serious about improving themselves know how to ask real questions in a respectful manner-they don't feel the need to flex half-baked ideas to try and appear smart. If you ever want to step out of your bubble of ignorance, start by dropping the ego and maybe, just maybe, you'll realize how little you actually know.
And just so we’re clear-any further disrespectful comments or questions like this will result in an automatic block from my channel. This space is for people who genuinely want to learn, not for those who come here to grandstand and waste everyone's time.
