In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the strongest bosses in elden ring can break through the capital city of Leyndell.
To test this I spawned some of the most powerful defence bosses the city has and had them activate one after the other to protect the city from the assault.
These bosses include the tree sentinel duo, a golem, a gargoyle, a weaker version of morgott, a draconic tree sentinel and a spirit version of Godfrey.

Imagine standing on the wall and seeing Maliketh just 360ing and obliterating your strongest defenders with Destined Death. Morale would crumble.

The way Malenia dodged all of the Golem's arrows then effectively killed it with one attack was really sick.
It's weird that she still took damage from the shots, but atleast it looked cool

@@paracame8162 I feel in DS that was more the case than in Elden Ring. I feel like the enemies in this game have a lot more rapid gap-closers that make ranged mage builds less auto-win than they used to.
I guess there's also a lot more melee magic in this game though.

@@pooydragon5398 Yeah, always terrifying when a boss has an edge walk of some sort. Radagon, Nameless King and Soul of Cinder are indeed upon the some of the most intimidating boss slow walks though.

He can, just give the guy some actual poise instead of having him be stunlocked by a sneeze and he can probably defeat some of the bosses
@@bloody4558 Maliketh and Morgott need their health and poise doubled, and they need some attacks to be desperately sped up. Morgott's sword attack and phase transition each take like ten freaking seconds and do barely any damage. Maliketh's overhead slams miss 90% of the time by themselves and still do nothing when it comes to damage. meanwhile Malenia's Waterfowl deals around 6k damage, heals 10k health, gives her infinite poise, applies Scarlet Rot (second phase), refreshes her poise, can be animation cancelled into, and still only takes about two seconds. It's so retarded unbalanced. I hope From doesn't keep going down this path and remembers that Miyazaki himself has said that difficulty was never the point of these games, but that it was a tool used for storytelling and enjoyment. Difficulty was the means to an end. Elden Ring's main flaw is that it sometimes seemed to view difficulty as the end, mostly with Malenia.
If godfrey stayed in his first phase than would have been canon and now i believe that he stomped all the time trough the city to the arena of morgott

I will never get tired of watching Godfrey tear everything apart. I wish he had even more ridiculous attacks. Give him a version of that jumping axe throw where his axe AND him landing to pick it up create separate explosions.
Then everyone would hate him like they hate Malenia, maybe even more than her bc he's a required boss whereas Malenia's optional. Be careful what you wish for. But balancing and gameplay aside, I agree with you that it would be cool for him to have more attacks like that.

@@alexandercox9004Everyone hates Malenia because she doesn’t follow the rules. She can cancel out of staggers into a dodge, a move with hyper armor, and even into a waterfowl. She can even delay a stance break if she’s performing a move with hyper armor, which half her moves have
Godfrey/Hoarah Loux doesn’t do this. He will stance break each time he has to
@@stevenaquino690 I think his exception is the initial hop into the air in Horah mode i don't think I ever seen him get knocked out of his initial hop (outside of bleed and frost which knock anyone staggerable out of ANYTHING)

Mohg is always my favorite to watch! His movement and aggro just blend so well together. That being said, in the combats and battle royals where he instantly dies before nihil, could you do a second mohg who starts in second phase? It honestly feels like 2 entirely different bosses and it would add more fun

The biggest problem with these kinds of runs are the way bosses are programmed. They're designed with tarnished in mind, so quicker attacking enemies will melt through them. I'd love to see something like this where they were programmed to react appropriately.

- Extinguish - Raya Lucaria
- Beat the Radahn Festival
- Burn down Miquella's Haligtree
You should also try to download the "Impossible Malenia" -mod and try out her against all other bosses.
Farum Azula would probably fail. Most bosses would fall down those "cliffs"

There's also the fact that she's programmed to be an early game boss so her stats scale pretty poorly

The Godskins working in tandem was incredible
really interesting to me how some of the bosses used their attacks as movement options, especially Godfrey using that earthquake dash
Morgott screaming in pain while pushing the two sentinels back was badass, only for it to get ruined by his death
Godfrey after being phase transitioned: "No wonder that hurt me. Just as I expect from myself. "
This "I need help!" at the end tells us everything. Gideon was behind the door all along.

I don't think you understand how strong Malenia and her brother are in lore. They are the youngest among the Demigods and even then they wreck the whole thing.
Malenia fought Radahn to a standstill, her brother was the most powerful among the Empyreans, those who are close to become gods.
Most people overestimate Radahn by a lot while underrating Malenia and the other Demigods, including Morgott.

Honestly this really shows the power of the tarnished you control like most bosses cant beat the tree sentinel duo here but our tarnished on only does but breaks stright in causing mass chaos because we think its fun lmfao

I have an idea for future videos but have no idea how reasonable it sounds. Is it possible for your to program a specific area boss fight through legacy dungeons while leading units indigenous to their own area?
For example, Malenia leading a small army of her “soldiers” into Stormveil all the way to fight Godrick? Or Mohg leading a small army of of his “soldiers” into Leyndell all the way to fight Morgott? That way, it’d feel like the Demi-Gods (and other bosses too, maybe) actually leading armies to fight one another on their own turf.
Again, I’m not sure this is actually possible. I just thought it sounded cool.
The idea sounds awesome, but for weaker enemies to have a chance, they would need to arrive with an entire company. The Leyendell army going to get Mohg or, heaven forbid, the HALIGTREE, you'd need multiple, MULTIPLE draconic tree sentinels, knights, and others to have a prayer of getting past the hardened enemies you fight before you get to Malenia, for example, or the Lake of Blood in Moghwyn Palace. The weaker enemies would need a literal army

@@jaredgreathouse3672 Maybe Bjorn could lightly buff the stats of weaker attackers/defenders to make any fights more fair and enjoyable to watch.
Probably the main problem is the NPCs don't have pathing programmed to get them to move through a complex 3d environment and bosses can't climb ladders. Plus if there's an enemy somewhere on the other side of a wall they might just stupidly run at the wall forever.
Not impossible, but difficult.
