Love the tutorial! Works great! 😁 However... I am trying to figure out how this can work with a full width mega menu, but with a container that has the set width (same as content). Because when you do not stretch the parent container, the mega menu container will start at the point where the button starts... Do you have an idea how to accomplish this? 😅
Nevermind. Quickly after writing this comment, I tried 'left:0;' on the .menu_content class as additional CSS and it works like a charm!
one fun issue, once you hover away from the button the dropdown disappears, rendering the mega menu redundent.
Make sure there is 0 PX gap between them or add some padding to the bottom with a 1 PX overlap.
Great tutorial! But have a QUESTION: How to keep the nav_item background and the menu_content background colors simultaneous? Meaning when hovering over the nav_item there is a background color and when hovering over the menu_content there is the same background color. When I hover over the menu_content, the nav_item is no longer in the hover state and no longer retains the hover background color. How do I keep the nav_item to retain the background while the menu_content is visible so the user can know that the two are associated? Thank you
Have you applied any selector:hover colour?
Also don’t forget to check the hover status option

I applied a background color to the hover state for both the .nav-_item and .menu_content; but the .nav_item is no longer in hover state when hovering over the .menu_content area. I'm looking to keep the hover background of the nav_item while hovering through the associated menu_content area.
