Today I am sharing this amazing best ever apple crumble cake which is one of my favourite desserts to make. It requires very few simple ingredients but is so delicious. Apple crumble cake recipe:
Cake:
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Mix well in a bowl
Add:
1/3 cup milk
1 egg
1/3 cup oil
Mix well
Apples:
2 diced apples
Add:
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Mix well
Crumb:
1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Mix well
Add gradually:
1/3 cup melted butter
Pour cake batter into tray
Add diced apples on top
Add crumb layer
Bake at 185 Celsius for 30-35 minutes

I made this and it was good, but just a little too sweet. I then made it again with the following changes: 1. Reduced the sugar in the batter from 1/3 to 1/4 cup. 2. Added 1/4 cup of rum-soaked raisins to the apple mixture. 3. Reduced the brown and white sugar in the crumble mixture from 1/3 cup each to 1/4 cup each and then added 1/4 cup of finely chopped pecans. Result: Outstanding!

I use meusli sometimes instead of oats, it has raisins and some almonds too. Will add rum soaked raisins the next time 👍

I tried this today, and by God, those was THE BEST apple dessert recipe I've made in a long time. Absolutely loved it. I have a massive sweet tooth, so I didn't change the measurements however, those who don't want to overly sweeten it can reduce the quantity of sugar

I made this lovely recipe with adding wallnuts and vanilla powder in it. I baked it about 52 minutes. It was delicous and tasty. It happened excatly what it looks like in video. Thanks for it.

Just made this and I am so impressed with the outcome. Looking at some of the other comments I only put brown sugar in the topping and used summer berries, apples and pears that needed to be eaten - the result was great…my colleagues will be happy when I take it to work tomorrow!

I try this recipe and it came out great!. I used less sugar though in all three steps, came out sweet and delicious. Thank you, I will definitely do it again for Thanksgiving 🤗😋

I agree; I added all the sugar for the whole recipe and it comes out to 2 1/4 cups for just a small dish of cake. If you get the sweetest apples you don't need all that sugar and also you can substitute the oil in the cake with applesauce.

This recipe is one of my husband’s favorites. In fact, when i made this on thanksgiving, everyone was asking for the recipe ! Everyone is saying “ it’s too sweet “ but honestly you just have to adjust the sugar depending on how much you want. And voila!! You will love it 💜 ohhh btw, its really god with ice cream on top ( we preffered vanila flavor) 💜
