Yes! Froze! I love frozen grapes, too! They are so refreshing in the summertime. Like little popcicles!

Every wine is nice and refreshing after you finished the third bottle. XD - But jokes aside. It has become a tradition for me to come home from work and watch some of your videos. It is just nice to see how you look on where I am from. And somehow I miss it a little bit.

Weindorf is always great! But all the other small and large festivals all over Germany, too! Can't wait to see you on the Volksfest (kind of a Stuttgart version of Oktoberfest)!

Have you tried Neuer Wein/Federweißer? Now is the season to drink it and eat some onion cake. It's sweet, so maybe something for your wife to enjoy.

I have not! Any recommendations on where to find it? Any grocery stores or markets you recommend?

@@TreyDaze You get Federweißer in most supermarkets around germany, but only during a certain time in the year which is not now, the more expensive ones comes from the Pfalz, italian Federweißer is cheaper. It's very young wine which makes it very sweet, the older ones are less fruity and much more tangy and sour, normally you eat onion cake (Zwiebelkuchen) with it.

@@hendrik8536 I´ve seen some too, but they were from italy. Wait 2 More weeks and the first "Federweisser" from Germany may be sold in Supermarkets or from little vans that park alongside of busy roads to sell authentic Federweisser from the region.

@@Transmodulator dri,nk and eat it in wine regions, only! Württemberg is not the best.
Zwiebelkuchen is yummie, also "Dinnele" "Dünnede"... German Flammkuchen (hundrets of yrs old Concil of Constance f.e.)
Wine Festivals in the south are the best, i like the small ones better

Weinschorle is wine with sparkling water, but lemon is pretty uncommon in it and since you only tasted water and lemon, there is more water than wine in it. Lillet blanc is a cuvee, means a mix of different white wines or a blend (like whiskies), it's mostly cheaper than a single grape variety. Kings and queens are always elected each year for different festivals in Germany, a very common practice. Whine slush sounds disgusting, wine needs a particular temperature to taste well, wine with ice is bad for the taste of the wine itself.

The Sommerg'spritzte exists, more water than wine, with ice and lemon. Very refreshing on a hot summer day.

2:54 - What is that child book your wife has in the background? I has exactly the same when i was a kid! One of my earliest memories. And I want it back. So I need the name to order it becasue with the description of the peacock picture I saw there I never found the book at all.

when people run like this, it looks to me terrifing, as if someone has dropped a bomb and they are chasing away. Most certainly I would run with them, to also get away as fast as possible. on the other hand some might have announced, that Robbie Williams was seen at the one or the other corner of town and people run to get a glimpse of him. but most certainly I would not run to a weinfest. I would just walk there and enjoy it.
