Pianist and composer Ellis Marsalis passed away on April 1st, 2020. This show was done as a tribute to him by performing his original compositions. In this performance, the band plays recently recorded compositions along with rare tunes which haven’t been performed in almost 40 years. Originally a livestream entitled "The Golden Hour", this show was also broadcast on the radio program “American Routes” hosted by Nick Spitzer.
