Very nice video. The Gardoš tower was built by the Hungarians to commemorate 1000 years living in the region. They built one tower in each corner of their country, Gardoš is the only one left. Zemun belonged to Austria-Hungary until 1918, hence the different architecture. It was from Zemun they started WWI by shelling Belgrade. I love Skadarlija and the vibe there, can really feel it in your video.
@@FreedomwithMike Hardly since I live in Sweden. 😁 But my parents are from Serbia. I am very interested in history, love Belgrade and the whole country, adore the food and beverages. I also like to see foreigners, especially from the west, coming to Serbia and really enjoy their stay since there is still a lot of prejudice about us in the west. OK, some things I don't like as well but nothing I will mention here and now.
