- Here I go fixing the dreadful Cornering Light Malfunction error!
You'll want to get an H3 bulb like the one I have here which is a Sylvania Basic 55W H3 bulb. It's just like stock. I don't know how long these bulbs last but one "died" at 38,000 miles on my car and one "died" at 51,000 miles. I'm the third owner though, so who knows.
Awsome Diy. I used LED projector H3 bulbs on mine. Lights up blue when I turn corners lol!!! Definetlt adds more character cosmetically
Can you share the link tot he LED projector H3 bulb you picked up? Thanks!
Great video. Disappointed on my end...the blue wire that has the black female end is stuck underneath the reflective lighting housing. Won’t pull out at all so I can’t get to connection. Worked on it for awhile...just cant get it past that housing. White wire eventually disconnected in the process of trying to pull the whole connection through. So now i have a new bulb installed...just not connected...lol.
Thanks for making such a useful video! Did you have to do anything to drop the whole light or raise the bar above? I had no trouble un-clipping the access panel, but was unable to get it off the light assembly due to interference with the bar above.
Great video 🙂
Fixed it. Thanks for doing the video!
Is there a trick to getting it out while turning? I tried turning it counterclockwise but it doesnt turn and the clip broke :/
Hey did u figure the clip part out mine broke so gotta find a replacement
Do you know what that little cover for the cornering light is called. Mine broke...
I don't. I'd look at some diagrams on the part finding websites like realoem.
What model year is your car? My 135i doesn't have that top access panel.
